Has anyone tried the Landstalker? I'm going to try it soon and post some pics. In GTA IV it had a great 4WD system but had a huge overhang at the back, I reckon it will be the same here.

I have 360 version. Most everyone in here is on the PS3. I made an offroad map called Swamp Race 1. Water, mud, jumps and more. If any of you have the 360 version check it out. You will have to use an offroad vehicle. I don't think its possible with anything else.

I drove my new Sandking XL with @KM964 and @Ust4Ever1 yesterday. I have to say, it is a very fun truck to just plow through mud, water, and launch off small hills. The suspension is really comfortable and its cool to see the suspension actually working.

I was sad about taking away my clean rebels. However the updated Sand King sure helps me forget.

That is until I see a clean rebel in the wild and have to ask Why oh Why did you take my Rebels away.

It was just 3 people including me, so we just did some offroading in our Sandkings/Rebels.

We might do it next weekend, or we could do something else.

Just yesterday I saw a clean Rebel with a baja bar and lights. first time i ever saw one with a baja bar. I will try to post some pictures. And @Frisky, the landstalker is not that good offroad. Even though it does have a good 4wd system, its very heavy and you can feel its weight driving on and off road. its understeers and I would say its about even with the Vapid Sadler.

You are saying it had the Baja Bar and the roof lights too?

You should of snagged a picture. As the only ones I've seen are below.

The last two pics are was what I settled with keeping and was gutted to see them stripped. The Baja Bar was my off Roader. The Green was my Street Killer.

The Clean Rebels come in as follows:

KC Lights no Bull / Baja Bar

No KC Lights with Bull Bar

No KC Lights with Baja Bar

No KC Lights No Bull / Baja Bar

That last two are my favorites and miss them dearly.

I said I'd post a few pics of the Landstalker (bone stock.)
So here they are:

It actually suprised me, It wasn't that bad. The approach angle is decent and the 4WD system is great. Sadly it's long back-end causes it to drag and the clearance is relatively poor. Compared to the Granger, it's brilliant, and if you can get past all the scraping and dragging it's pretty fun. The power is 'meh' and coupling this with the fact that the car is heavy doesn't help. Good job it has a good 4WD system then. The suspension is quite stiff too, not sure what to make of that really. But it does keep off-roading fresh, so I'm going to keep it, mod it and then maybe post some more pictures.

Yeah, I kinda like the change of pace. In the Mesa, I can pretty much go anywhere. It's a challenge with the Landstalker, and it sounds pretty cool, too.

I'll try to upload some pictures of the failed meet ASAP, there was a couple good snaps but I'm not at home for the next couple days.

Any thoughts about that Sandkings meet I suggested on the previous page?

We should do a trail run with Sandkings. But here's the catch: one team of SWBs and one of XLs. They both try to climb Chiliad from the bottom of whichever side they have. Whichever team wins, uh... Wins I guess...
We'd need a referee for each team to make sure of no cheating or Tom-foolery. But I reckon this will be great fun!

Oh and on one other note:
If anyone needs any money online, just give me a buzz as I have around 3.8 Billion now :')

I have been reading this thread for a while now, and I am a fan of off-roading on GTA. I thought that this was mainly PS3 only, however I have seen that a few other Xbox 360 have posted in here.

I have sent a request to join the crew on social clubs and if anybody is interested in doing some off-roading, just message me Xbox GT: Wraith of Vern.

My Current Off-Roaders are below. I just got the Sandking SWB after finding out that it is now four wheel drive.

I am definitely up for hitting some trails with the Snow if anybody on xbox is available for that.

I just joined a snowwy freeroam, so I thought I would share a few photos of my adventures up Mount Chiliad. I'm guessing that you'll soon find out what the snow is like to drive in on this, but it seems to be similar to how it would handle in rain from how many times I got a bit stuck on the way up Chiliad.

Pretty sure the filters are here to stay, but apparently the snow is today only, and the christmas clothing disappears on Jan the 5th.
