No, you guys just need to wait a year.
If you were as informed as you think you are, you'll that upwards. Very upwards.
That may be your view, but my view is different. Everyone has their own opinions.
I said it wasn't memorable and you came out with a list of things manufacturers put in press releases. Hey, it's comfortable y'all! Well, that's etched in my mind for all time, because no other car does that.

Got anything actually memorable?
I can see the interior of the car just by playing Gran Turismo.

I already stated what was memorable about the car.
And here, ladies and gents, you can see that this man here is a fraud.

Kazunori Yamauchi?

Aries isn't as typical as the other 80's compacts, and I think you know why.

Because other manufacturers didn't build their entire model range off of their 80s compact? Because most other manufacturers didn't keep it around long past its sell by date?

I mean, GM did do both of those things and suffered for it far more than Chrysler did, but I thought the argument was that the Aries was cut from another cloth from the Cavalier?

though it is lightly amusing that you've again forgotten that Volkswagen and BMW are things that existed.
I wouldn't wish a 1980s American market Volkswagen on anybody unless they could trace it to make sure it didn't come from Westmoreland.

No, you stated a press release list of meaningless terms.

Do you think that no other cars ever have been comfortable? Do you think that no other cars ever have had a quiet ride. Do you think that no other cars ever have been 'technological'? Do you think that no other cars ever have had an interior? Do you think that no other cars ever have been low priced? Do you think that no other cars ever have had a high fuel economy? Do you think that no other cars ever have had a good build quality?

If you think the answer to any of those is "yes" you're delusional. If you - correctly - think the answer to all of them is "no" then none of those things on your list are memorable things.

So what's memorable about it? What does it do that other cars don't - or that it did first - that give people cause to remember it?

The American Auto: Over 100 Years is 704 pages. You're going to need a whole pile of pointless fluff to stretch out one decade of one manufacturer to 1,000 pages.

But my encyclopedia will include every make and model, detailed information about every make and model, specs for every make and model, and pictures for every make and model. I'll even touch on finances of the companies, little known companies, and little known models like the Dodge Omni 024 DeTomaso Edition.

Uh, no. Look at yourself in the mirror.

I think I look handsome.

I'll say this slowly:

Video.

Games.

Aren't.

Real.

But games like Gran Turismo and Forza, in terms of car detail, are very close to real.

Of course I know that other cars were quiet and comfy. Hundreds of other cars were (some will be in my encyclopedia). It just that for it's time, the Aries was more comfy, quieter, higher quality, than any other American compact you could purchase.

It started a trend of lackluster cars from Chrysler that is still going strong today. That counts for something, right?

Can you prove that impartially?

I.E. give us professional reviews from the time without cherry-picking?
