An odd one this, everything about it says that I should be voting uncool (or worse),
It dosnt have any credibility, its Russian (so hardly a great pedigree for car building), the entire production are probably owned by criminals, if you turned up in this to pick up a girl she'd go straight back inside the house....

Yet for some reason my first impression is that this is a cool car,
The sort of thing that while I'd hate to own one, it would straight away have me looking at it if I saw one in the street.

I wouldn't go so far as to call it a hot rod... it has a presence and smoothness that no hot rod does.

It's sub-zero, because when you pull up to a ricer at the light, you can stomp on the gas and say: "Bringing down the hammer!"

Everything Russian is badass. For example:

2001 must be a typo, but I'm going for sub-zero because it's quite obviously a extra awesome luxury car.

2001 is when the car was made, the car it's based on is from the 60's.

Actually, it is. Have you seen Kamaz trucks? Russians build cars to work in Russia, and that means pretty shocking conditions a lot of the time. Sure, they need regular maintenance (which is probably why the Lada jokes started when ignorant owners didn't maintain them properly) but in Russia they seem to get that and they go on forever. I think Lada still make the Niva (off roader) and it's essentially the same as it was 30 years ago because (like the Land Rover Defender) they're tough as old boots despite having to work hard for their entire lives.

Incredible I didn't gave my opinion about it.

Anyways, I agree with Nicksfix: Bad-ass all over it, it's russian and as such, not a car I'm aware of, which is good. Nice amount of power (BMW V12!), awesome looks, there's nothing I don't like about it. 👍

It's the automotive equivalent of this.

If only there was an automotive MiG 29 or Su 31 equivalent. :<

FISHBED!!!

It's equal parts russian endurance and german intelligence. In other words, the Red army and the Bundeswehr have combined. God help us all.

So you are telling me I should drive inverted over it, give the driver the finger, and then snap a picture of it?

This custom made vehicle was made in a single copy. Its not Volga and its not a factory car. It is a rebuilded BMW 7 series.

We know. We also knew 9 months ago when the thread was actually active.

Uncool... would have been cool until I saw it was basically just a BMW underneath... and I'm not a fan of BMW's. Now had that been an original Volga chassis with a BMW V12 in it, It would have been cool if not subzero.
