It's just my luck that I choose to compete in a series with Fuji and Cape Ring, my two least favourite tracks in the whole game.

I enjoy Fuji but Cape ring is just not a great track from a design stand point. Cape ring is the only track I dislike.

Looks like we share the same opinion on tracks. :) Really wish they would have put the GT4 tracks into this version, I've been missing Apricot and Midway. Would have been much better to run.

I keep hearing about DLC that will bring GT4 tracks to GT5. Hope its true, i wanna race Seattle, Paris, New York. They were so much fun:tup:

I am only taking part in this round to show up and hope I get a point or two. I hear Nepalii complaining about not getting into 30,I cant get into 35 :'(

Have you received my message yet?

Just to confirm, how long till quali starts?
GT5 is being a bastard,I cant paint the car despite already recieving the paint and it's lagging badly.

Ah, sorry I didn't reply, I think the Aston's will be great. Nice to see a Brit manufacturer with some points on the board.

Thank you for letting us use the Aston.

Also:
Great job to Nepalii and widow. Great racing both of you.

Niop sorry some bumps here and there. I had a great battle with you.

I will post some pictures and I'm going to get some film uploaded soon.

I am with you on that one lol my fronts were gone on lap 3!

You guys are on racing softs, they wear out more. First race was weird, me and widow apparently were invisible to each other. I just kept my pace. Race 2 i got hit by vold twice and lost time to widow. From there it was just about controling and hold the 2nd place. I knew I couldnt catch him, so congratulations to Widow on Race 2. Fantastic pace.

I have no problems with how it wears as mine is all even except the right rear, but the wear rate is alot.Had to really feather the throttle over the bump at that stupid circle loop thingy. However I think as a constalation our car's look the best.;)
And now I can confirm I was hit by CAM.My poor Aston.

It's all good, I have a great time battling with you. And I think one of your bumps actually helped me. Had you not, I think I may have been collected by Vold in the next turn.

Phil, I bumped CAM from behind on that one, but I think the death blow was by Tier behind me. If it was my fault, I'm really sorry about that.

I think it was my fault that you couldn't catch up to widow on race 2.
Ugh. I feel bad. Anyways, tokyo is next and it's one of my favourites!

I have been practicing on Tokyo, those seasonal events are pretty nice.
Our Aston's need the race softs to keep up but they wear faster sadly.Still much better race car than the Lexus though.
It's not a bad car the Lexus, lot of fun but just not competitive and dosen't suit me.

I am disappointed about dropping the LFA as well. I had a lot of work put into it. I even had R1600 turbo tune it for us. But in the end the lack of downforce just makes it too slow. Also why are your Rears wearing out so fast my rear tires were fine. In fact I never spin the back tires until around 4/5. Pm me your tune and we can see where to go from there.

It's my driving style,I brake the rear wheels into corners and slide the car in.The positive thing is the car balance never changes but traction is a slight issue.
Oh and no need to send me that DB9 I think I can get mine running smoothly soon.I still want it to point more though.
Also I watched the replays and noticed NEPALii's driving style is incredibly similar to mine. Also noticed how some car's can carry so much more brake when cornering.

I'd be interested to see what you make of my car's behaviour, if you have any footage of me. ;)
EDIT: That goes for everyone else too, I'd be interested :)

The braking could be due to setups, my Lambo used to brake badly but found a way to increase its stopping power. However, it became more loose. If you notice on the replay, my Lambo was sliding a bit. Its hard to drive like this but its the only way to stay on the top places, specially with Widow being really fast.

I want to know the logic of your setup,I actually like a pointy and loose car which is why I praised the Lexus last time.
Yeah saw you go off the road after taking the wide line getting passed.Good save though.
And after tokyo I might try to put up a video of my pedal work for fun,you will see my pedal ergonomics are horrid.:P

I had an awsome overtake of DBuckeyes on one of the early laps of Race 2. Tier was on the grass,DBuckeyes took a wide line and I kept it flat and took both of them.If anyone has footage I would love to see it.
Shame that it was the best part of my race :(

Guys, I would like to issue a sincere apology for my aggressive driving. Even though it didn't affect your positions, I should have been more careful. However, one thing I can say is that my tires were gone most of the time and I basically slid into people. It will NOT happen at Tokyo.

Race #1 was okay, but I got a little reckless on Rae #2. Please understand that it won't happen again.

Are you a right foot or left foot braker Phil?

Used to be right but I have problems finding gears when braking from high speed so Im using my left foot now.
The problem now is Im not getting off the throttle quick enough and my pedals are too close to me.

You can download my replay when I set it online I think. And I got the whole lot of y'all in my Aston.;)

I'm normally an RFB, but my shifter is broken, so no heel 'n toe for me right now. Guess I'm reasonably fortunate that I'm dextrous enough to be able to brake with both feet, as it can be hard for some
