Hey guys. Something came up that gets in the way of the actual season, but I'm gonna try to get into the weekend series still.

Have anyone tried the Audi R8 '01? I can't get it to be faster by lenghts, but it's definately the best car in terms of consistency.

i did 1 lap and was 1 second faster than the next car, ill post my times on sunday when i finish all of them

At 900-max, it's slower than my GT-ONE... hmmm. EDIT: And my MINOLTA too...

well yea, my first races where there was no engine limiter i needed a 976 HP limit to fit the prototype & group C cars. GT-One and minolta were fastest along with the C9, but you could only drive the C9 if you didnt do oil changes cuz it had too much HP
 
Just to add to my voting, I'm thinking about Monaco in the city tracks. Narrow, but could (potentially) be fun to try.
 
Awesome, track voting is up. I voted the same as last season except Nurburgring replacing Grand Valley, and Daytona Road replacing Indy road. All the others (Monza, Suzuka, Sarthe and Laguna) I'm happy to stay :)
 
Ahh I see. Monaco is actually quite fun in these cars. Me, golfer and MU tried last week. I would use that as my as a replacement to my Sarthe 2005 vote :)

Bentley and r10 had turbo added, rest didn't.

To be fair I have a lot of time in the bentley. Probably .5 second gained from all the time I put into it.

Suzuka (but can be removed in place for Fuji)
City (tokyo or Monaco)

Grand Valley

Then 2009 finally (5 + 1 if you remove suzuka).

I'm more likely to show up for a Weeknight race in the US EDT region because my schedule for SAT can vary with work and some activities outside my home. As for a suggestion, I'm thinking you should have the weeknight race on either Wednesday or Thursday night.

That's good. I have a #1 choice in mind, but I'll see what other options I can use. :)
 
I'm suspecting my setups are the main reason it's the same cars that are in top of my rankings atm. Courage, Bentley, MINOLTA, GT-ONE and Audi R8 (can be much better, I know!!!).

Jag, Audi R10 and CLK-LM is hopeless. Only Jam should use one of these to make it interesting :D

I know, but it's on the list, isn't it? Besides, Mav was competitive in it, that's why I mentioned it :)
 
me, Jamm and bombe tried having a few laps at 443 BHP. This was easy to drive, slow and enjoyable. Also, we tried racing on comfort hards. I think that may be the answer ;)
 
I like the Jay Leno Tank Car for rally races! It's amazing!

Ehem... Well, one race with 443 bhp, and Jam was 2 secs faster per lap and you started driving the wrong way. I doubt that would work for the series, but it was at least some fun this night :) Since no one else wanted to do some races :D

bombe, thinking about low power, if it was lower power, then anyoe running solo is less likely to crash meaning they catch people up front having battles. Also, I think thew DFGT may be slower :( or at least for most people and that a weight ballast on the Bentley will have a significantly bigger effect than at higher BHP levels.
 
I very rarely do solo crashes, so that's not an argument. Neither do any of the guys faster than me (except Johny) ;)

If you could test and put it in the spreadsheet to have some proof, then it should be considered though.

Haha that was great. I might make a Tank Car series :D

443 hp is pretty bad to be honest though. If for some very weird reason it was at that level, I think the tyres would have to be restricted to Racing Hards. With Racing softs is wasy too easy lol. Maybe thats why golfer liked it :P. Plus the field is not close at all. I was in the 1:22's, bombe was in the 1:24's and golfer was in the 1:26's. Wouldn't quite work :)
