Another important thing about the HP limit. You need to give those people who don't use traction control, such as myself, a fighting chance. Up the HP limit, and we'll struggle, and have to turn them on, which I don't want to do. I do fine with the limit now, any more and i'll probably be going off track more often You also have to take into account that the faster you make the cars, the more likelihood of incident on track, and we surely have enough of that, with Johny running around the place jk

Yes it is, but in the races, when tyre wear accumulates, or if you touch the dirt a bit, you're at a disadvantage to those running TC. And if it rains, God help you from those with TC, they'll be able to drive it far easier.

Then a driver should run TC. The league should not give an advantage to any driver for their setup choice TC or not. If a driver gets loose they can change LSD or setup the car with TC. I found it very hard to drive DRC without TC. The grass there seems to suck you in and turning with TC on became very much hindered so it was to race without despite the grass hazards.

Well, it's only in terms of speed. The MINOLTA and the Courage both suffer from terrible fast tyre wear. I'm sure other cars are better, but I'll find that out later when I am choosing my car.

lol. I find it pretty quick but it might just be the setup. It's still nowhere near as good as the Speed 8 and GT One but it's not bad. Only downside is that it has massive power oversteer. Need to tune that out.

C9 is a mid field car, if you can keep it under control.

Bmw v12 and R92CP are good cars, upper mid field, behind the bentley, gt one, 908 and r8.

About the same as the 787 and GT-One for me. I only do 3 hot laps in my testing though.

I'll post more tunes for what I have later after I get off work.

I still have no clue as to what car I will use next season. Sauber is poor at lower hp, R92CP has bad tyre wear supposedly. The 908 seems like an average all rounder so that might be a good choice. I'm only using one of these three cars. Why? Because I am awesome. And Jamman knows that I pick my cars based on how they look. Hey, it worked well last season as I finished 2nd.

Is the C60 courage a lvl 23 car? I think it's the only lmp car I don't have besides the yellow r8. I'll have to cycle my 23 ticket till I get it and give it a go.

No it didnt. THe 2010 908 Orcea is possibly the most hideous LMP car EVER. It looks like the design studio sat down, brainstormed ideas for a livery for the best part of 5 minutes then just threw some red, blue and white paint on a chrome 908.

This is a cool 908 livery. The 2011 908 Oreca (same car as 2011 but new livery)

What a livery. I want it now.

Honestly, I like the feel of the Bentley, but I do have hours into it and a basic setup tune I do to all my lmps on the R8, lol. No doubt though the R8 is faster.

GT-ONE should have ballast too, its top speed is too high and it's at extreme advantage at La Sarthe.

I was taking about the 01 r8. Its not as predicate as the Bentley, but I have only driven it a handful of times.
