For those who haven't seen my car :

It was stolen before and they painted it black. So I sanded it down, and now going to repaint it with a better black. The bumper is new of course.

At a closer look, you got a nice looking car there. When are you going to get it painted? And please share lots of photos when your done :)

It is definately a fixer upper, not all dinged up,looks pretty solid, nice car.

Agree with Prosthetic, submit some pics when your done,or as you go along the way with it. 👍

I always do, there is a small crack in the windshield that needs replacing but it use to look like this:

I got alot of work ahead of me. But the planned paint is going to be the famous flat black.

Can't believe I haven't posted here yet. Anyways, I've been driving this gem since August of 2007. Bought it new and have over 20K miles on it now and love it.

2008 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT

It's in the shop now, some one in the parking lot hit it and put a nice little dent in the bumper. Nothing Structural but I wasn't too happy about it. I should get it back later this week.

^ nice legacy man:tup:

Thanks, these pictures are going on 2 years old now this August, but the car still looks great. I have since tented the windows (20% if I remember all the way around, except the windshield) and added a rear lip spoiler which looks better than the stock spoilers IMO.

Plans on added some COBB performance parts and different wheels for the summer. If I just stop building computers, I might get those other things going sooner than later. :D

👍

More so considering your computers run more than some of my cars :dopey:

It's dumb huh? I get wrapped up in building a system and them have buyers remorse when I'm done. I could have gotten more bang for the buck with some new wheels (18" gun metal black spoke), muffler and exaust system, and ECU controller for the Subie.

Don't get me wrong, I like my comp, but the thrill is short lived. Now it's 'just a computer'. :)

Pako, I could of sworn I saw your pics earlier in the thread.

I know, I thought I had posted it also....but the only post I had in here was refering to my 1992 Buick and my 1991 Ford Pickup. I'm sure it's in the "Pics of your car" thread.

801-713-0035. Call that number immediately. Tell them you've spent a bunch on a computer and you're already bored with it. I'm sure the guys there will be able to recommend you with something much more exciting. Plus, you might be able to pay for it all by selling that monstrosity...

I'll take that comp off your hands. I won't complain either! :dopey:

Make me an offer I can't refuse and I'll box it up today. :D

With the newborn, I have little to no time to game anyways...., I did finish FEAR2 which was quite enjoyable. Loading levels litterally takes a second. I do, however, drive to work every day and find more time in the car than I do in front of the Plasma playing COD5. So yeah, let's do this. :)

Woah Pako timetravel. You've been driving a 2008 legacy since August 2007?

or was it launched in 2007? In which case I get annoyed at car manufactures that do that.

Yep, 2008 model was released in 2007. At the time, they also had a 2007 Spec B model that was sitting on the lot for a year. I still kinda wish I spent the extra dollars on the Spec B but I just couldn't swing it financially and they were less apt to budge on the price. The new '08 however, had more wiggle room and they were willing to work with me on it. :)

Not bad for a 2nd hand motor based on a Mondeo - and all for just over $20K Canadian.

-S. Chapman

I was going to say nice Mondeo

Oh and Pako, Sadly you won't get any service from me, I just bought myself a new comp. My old one lasted a whole year!!! I will be crossfiring it this summer and maybe some raid action to... Possibly water cooling... But tomarrow I'm off to buy a new monitor! :)

Ok back on topic....

EDIT: My last bit of the post was for a different thread XD

I test drove a British Racing Green 04 X-type a week or so ago. I was underwhelmed.

I think it's time to post in here again.

2003 BMW M3, yup 6 speed, and all the fancy goodies you'd expect in a go-kart like this.

Quite the upgrade compared to my old 325ci. I'm not a huge fan of these wheels but I fell in love with the color of the car. The one thing I must say is the way this car growls under heavy throttle is something I've never heard in my life. I've owned a few fast cars in the past, but the sound that bellows out of this inline-6 is absolutely intoxicating.

The best part of this car is you don't really have to modify it to make it fast, it's fast the way it is, and nobody tries to **** with you on the stoplights :P

As some of my wiser friends say, the only way to get out of the recession is if we all do our part, and spend money. :D
