Should we change Race 14 (14 laps of Daytona Oval) and if so to what?

  • 5 laps of Monza (No Chicanes)

Well, have you done some tests between public and private lobby? Do you have proves that Private is better?

From knowledge with Private rooms and Furinkazen, the timing system shows up correctly with the grid order correctly organised for the race.

Since the update, there has been little to minimal difference in lag between the two.

After our Indy Race, I counted 14 random drivers entering our lobby. Its only a matter of time for one of them to join in and enter just when the countdown starts.

Not to mention screw up someone's qualification run like Matty's at Indianapolis although due to the missed up grid, he started 3rd anyway.

Id like 4 drop races because I was ready for 3 races on Saturday and I can't make next week due to prior plans. 4 dropped races for the independent championship would keep me happy. Especially since you plan on 4 races next week. And up till the cancelation I was leading the independents according to your thread title last night. So this would be fair for me.

Excellent point.

4 races it provisionally is. 👍

It was due to personal problems and issues, I effectively left the series. And this was to do with my girlfriend - no more explanation needed surely.

It's understandable man. This right here is why I miss as many races as I do. I'm gladly back aboard. :)

I may not be able to advise if I can make this week, until Saturday. Will let you know asap though.

Let's see... 3 out of 5 (all in a row) races won so far, with the poorer results coming from 2 short races at the crapshoot that was Daytona. Time to continue my dominating results by going 3 for 3 at Indy, winning another road course race, and hoping not to get wrecked at SSRX. :sly:

Don't forget the Indy race will be a 2 stopper... (15+ for Furi if he arrives in time for it)

What time does qualifying at Indy begin?

Well, let's hope that Suzuka doesn't become a wreck-fest for me. I absolutely hate road courses.

Lobby will open at 5.45pm BST for open qualifying for race 6. Please check OP for further details on tonight.

Please make sure you have added me as a friend on PSN as we are going private tonight.

I hope everyone can make it tonight. Tire wear is on for the first race so the sooner you get in, the more fuel you can burn.

I should be there on time as I finish work at 5.. :dopey:

And I won't do Race 9 because apparently people think for some reason that overcrowding a day with races is a good thing.

Could everyone that wants to make Race 6 at Indy do a 6pm BST / 1pm EST Start?

Qualifying will open at 5.45pm BST / 12.45pm EST.

I hope this works for everyone.

Everything will be pushed forward by 15 minutes.

M55racer, have you previously raced on GTPlanet Leagues? If not, I'm afraid its a no as we have more than 16 drivers in our entry list.

I don't understand. If you push it forward, then I'll definitely skip one race (preferably Indy because it sucks to drive this car in the draft) but SSRX is also... disposable due to the boredom.

Not much point in skipping as it could give other drivers a chance to cash-in on events you may not like. Up to you though. Team points are also on the line here.

Just to reiterrate what I've said all-season, you MUST finish the race in order to qualify for points. Rage-quitters and non-starters earn zilch. If you don't want to race, just park your car somewhere appropriate.

EDIT: Besides, this new format helps all you WTCC guys get into Dax's Lobby sooner.

You're not giving me the appropriate time to do 4 races and still get into the WTCC lobby in time for qualifying. Therefore I'm skipping one race, be it Indy or SSRX. Indy is so hopeless that I'd prefer skipping it, but it depends on which round comes last because that's what goes too far.

Still confused mate.

WTCC Qualifying Opens at 8pm BST. We finish probably by 7.50pm BST.

Timings are now non-clashing.

Again, I can't force you to race but I'd recommend it.

In other news, hopefully we'll have MULE back this weekend.

Err, I barely made it after a 3 race weekend, and now that we have 4, half of which are double-length races, I don't see a bright future...

Carb wins race 6.

Still a few slots open. Please post if you would us to delay race 7. Start in 9 minutes from this post.

Sorry to anybody I wrecked, ISP is having one of those moments. Hope it's back to normal for the Cup later.

I suspect private room isn't the better way... lot of guys has been DC'd

I know my problems were based on my DL/UL speed because my ISP does this once every month or two. That's Virgin Media for ya.
