You're barking up the wrong tree - I don't even click on any links at this time of the year in here. Others have tried that trick for many many years. Without any success.
As well - not only is my sound always off, I have earbuds kept jacked-in and When I need to actually listen to something I put the earphones on and then turn the sound up.
I'm old-fashioned; it keeps me safe from unwanted pop-ups.

Not a sound of George Michael over here simply because we stay quiet till Veteran's day is over. No Christmas music.
After that all hell breaks loose.

I said not to purposely Wham! others. I highly enjoy Wham!, but I think it would be better if people would stop trying to Wham! others so quick. Much more fun to get Whammed! at the grocery store rather than clicking on a link that says "Hilarious video.. (Youtube link)"

What's the fun in that. Heck, I've made friends from the people that have tried to Wham me. @Daniel comes to mind on that. Trying to get people is really the basis of what brings GTP together. It gets our members on Skype. It gets members playing more often in community races. Whamming is a good thing.

I am not saying that it will decrease or increase friendships. Also, not everybody is going to agree with the ACT nor will they follow it. So intentional Whamming! is still going to happen. I am not declaring that everybody must follow the ACT.
