I haven't listened to the original in three years. How would I even know it was George if the announcer said nothing?

There was a "Last Christmas' version that whammed me some hours ago while I was listening to 98.1 CHFI around 10.40 PM or so. It wasn't a cover I have ever heard before. The announcer, that dang John Tesh who does the radio show 'Intelligence for Life', played it and never said who it was.

So there. I have to be in the clear.

I had to do some Christmas shopping this evening before I fly to China on Saturday. I was browsing and then I heard it.

My heart sunk and I swore out loud, "****ety ****balls!". As I listened closer I heard a female singing. It was a cover.

That's my first close call and the last time I enter a shopping centre this year.
