I am deep in Territory that could be considered whambient. While I am hearing Christmas music, it's all being played by the school band so it appears at best, a cover wham is likely so I could be safe once commencement starts. Wish me luck, comrades.

I got Whammed at dinner. Went to a local pizza place run by an older Italian guy who traditionally plays Sinatra Christmas. I thought I was safe. As I sat down at my table I heard it playing. The rest of the night was pop-style Christmas songs.

Driver Ed teacher played some Christmas music during class. Wham! Count is still at 4.

I just had the biggest scare of my Wham dodging quest ever. Since I blew out my earbuds, I've been borrowing my dad's headphones. I took them with me today to go back to my college, and my mom made the decision to play Christmas music in the car. I wisely fired up the iPod, but I was keeping track of what was being played since the head unit will mention the name of a song. It was only a few minutes after I started checking that I saw the dreaded song- Last Christmas by Wham!.

I began to panic and realize that the song I was listening to would fade out, and I feared that this was the end. My brother, who was driving, apparently didn't like the song and switched to a rock station just before the song I was listening to ended and faded out. Had the switch occurred even a second later, I would have been out. I will never go in a car with my mom unless I have my iPod and if my brother is calling the shots on the station since he unknowingly saved my ass (which is nice since he doesn't know about this- if he did, I would have probably been out ages ago). I'm alive by a thread, but I really don't think I'll survive this year because now even he is listening to Christmas music.

Earlier today I heard a cover for the first time this year, then almost immediately after it sprinkled snow for the first time this year where I'm at. I hope that isn't a bad sign.

Got properly Whammed! for the first time this month. Decided to go to a pub for some dinner and it was the kind of place where there's bugs in the ale and everybody looked like they'd just got out of the mines. Even the kids.

The food was awful too, so there was absolutely no upside to today.

Merry Christmas, everyone. :grumpy:

Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal. :grumpy:

Fixed. Just seemed more fitting.

Live feed!

I'm at a buzzing sushi restaurant with my parents, aunt, and uncle. They were talking loudish, and as they began to quiet down, I had realized... The dreaded song was playing.

Wham count: 4.

Went Christmas shopping again at the local mall, not one noise of George to be heard. Very busy though, but done shopping.

Now, to hide in the basement...

Whammed twice tonight, first on TV Soap Coronation Street in a scene where they had a Christmas party and the song played, I do watch soaps and in most of the scenes recently Christmas music has been playing but no Wham! until tonight

Next was inevitably that bloody advert again!

Wham Count:

🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Thanks for the advice.

Next, someone is going to check the CHFI log, I suppose. :nervous:

As I type this, they're playing the original. If it was a guy singing and sounded somewhat New Wave then it's most likely Wham. :P

(Currently updating WUL).

Made it back home without hearing it at college, probably only going to the story once more this year, so if I can make it then, then I'm pretty much in the clear.

So, you all might be (not) wondering why I've had a lack of confidence winning this Wham?

I'mma tell you now..

I just walked out of Terminal 4 in Heathrow.. I'm in the UK for the rest of the year. And the moment I head to the toilets by baggage handling..

*Christmas Jingle*

I left quickly. My baby brother came out and told me it was a CoverWham!

RIP SPD GG WP.

It was a guy singing that sounded like a gal.

It wasn't this one:

I like that one. It's a nice wham - las' kissmas.

Enjoy.

Instead of wham should be Paul Mccartney Wonderful Christmastime.
Then no one could survive. Lol

Heard Wonderful Christmastime like twice a day.
Yet no wham.
