My dad and I just got Cover-Whammed at work.

I was bringing some trash out back to the trash compactor and heard:

"...this year, to save me from tears..." (I hear things more loudly as I focus on them) and my heart just about stopped. I listened, and it was a cover. Now I'm concerned.

Edit: My dad was in Produce and didn't even realize the cover song was on until I told him.

What's even worse - two things:

I turned on the radio in my mechanical room where I'm working on staining the pallet wood. Started staining and a Christmas song comes on. I paused for a second, knowing it wasn't LC, but considered getting up to change it. I didn't as I didn't think they'd have 2 back to back. Another one came on about 30 minutes later, still not LC. Still didn't change the station. This attitude will almost assuredly be the end of me.
