So I went to the shopping last night to get faucets and whatnot, and Last Christmas played twice, but awfull covers by girls i've never heard. it was the most Wham intense 2 hours i had so far

I had a pool match last night and we won 9-1 to move further ahead at the top of the league. To celebrate we went to the pub which we frequent. They have a quiz on Monday nights so the regular jukebox is out of action; the quiz was finished when we arrived and a Christmas playlist had been left on. I knew it would be on there, but had it played yet? How could I tell? How could I ask anyone without them learning about the game and risk them immediately Whamming me? I had to sit there and accept my potential fate. My friend started telling me about his 7 week old son and I tried to act interested but I couldn't, there it was, that dreaded intro. Before long George was in my ears, infecting my brain with what technically isn't even a Christmas song, just a song with a story around Christmas time, the same way Die Hard is apparently a Christmas film. I was shown a picture of the baby having thrown up everywhere and it pretty much described how I felt.
Basically what I'm trying to say is @Daniel I'm out.
