GTP_Division 3 Members Meeting Thread

Yes that's a great idea.

With the divisions now we have a huge quantity of into to manage. People will be looking at the region to choice players to play, other will look at the division, other at gold/bronze/silver.... much info, much players, we need a solid interface.

GT5P could bring it us if PD release private rooms. With Ventrilo we could start at least the base yeah.

I'd like to get it started, but we should makesure we arent the only two schlubs doing it. Are you still waiting for the vote to come through? Which system do you prefer?
 
I should have some time this weekend to send out some invites on my the friends list.


I've been only racing on the weekends but now maybe I can find more time to race with the D3 group.

Yes, I'll wait for the poll results that end midnight 18th, and I hope that Ventrilo wins because it's my favourite one, and honestly it's the best one for what we need on divions.

The bad thing about divions is that it makes like individuals groups on GTPlanet. I'm afraid of people separated from others due to things thing. Let's see how it goes 👍

As long as the channels arent password locked, i dont think that will be an issue.

No worries - I think I clipped you a couple of times too.

I've finished now and I'm sulking for the rest of the evening. I just can't get it together on that track at the moment! My ability to drive appears to have completely deserted me today.
 
Greetings fellow div 3's.

I'm around the online chat as linked most of the time although idle most of it. Spending most of my time at Suz 750PP but I'd be up for some Fuji racing anytime too.
 
Blimey! its been about a week since I checked out the forums and I've come back to about 6 million registry posts and this thread! Seems i've missed quite a lot! :)

Hi to all fellow Div3 racers, look forward to racing you all at some point. Might try for a couple of races tonight so will hopefully see some of you online!

Hi everybody, I’m very pleased to land in this third division.👍

I’ll check in this thread on a regular basis, looking for nice and balanced competition. With quite a heavy load of work at the moment, I will not be be able to give GT5P as much time as I want in the coming weeks thought.

I think I'm almost mentally ready to race online more often with the steering wheel, I'll go to the HSR 800 PP at xx:36 to practise for the Showdown 4 this weekend.
 
Hay guys, plus 1 lady. Just a sugestion about adding drivers names from division 3 to PS3. Just say your in the bronze list, just add thoes drivers to you PS3.

Division 3 Bronze here - just thought I'd say hello. Won't be around too much in the near future, as my G25 died shortly after this registration thing started. Logitech sent me a replacement under warranty (sweet). Unfortunately, it was defective (less sweet). I am now waiting for my second replacement. Long story short, Logitech definitely stands behind the G25, but that still me in limbo for the time being.

I'll be up for pretty much any race events once I get settled in with a functioning wheel.

Do you realize there is a good chance that most D3 drivers are probably separated by less then a second in lap time? Why do you think this group is so large? I think all D3 drivers should be battling it out together.

What’s your logic in keeping us separate with our PS3 list if I may ask?

I add people to my friends list who I have good close races with. It serves two purposes - If they've been on line at the same time as me before then they'll prolly be online at the same time some point in the future and, secondly, it means we're pretty evenly matched in terms of pace.

No offence intended to anyone here but I don't want to go filling up my friends list with people I'll never see on the track. It's kind of pointless.
 
Now that's good logic. It shouldn't have anything to do with where you are at in a division. 👍

A bit like you i don't accept invites from anybody and everybody, actually my list is extremely short, bout 7-8 names as I'm rather selective and prefer people who i raced, wether won or lost and who i have chatted to in some form or other, so please don't take offence when i don't add people

I used to add any old person but now I've a friends list of about 50 people who I haven't seen online since I added them :grumpy:

Guess this is my stop! Only back from a few days away and I'm trying to catch up on everything, GTP divisions decided, CERN activities the whole world money markets collapsing etc etc, I missed a lot.
Looking forward to racing all of you, I've met many of you before and will hopefully meet you all at some stage, either overtaking you, or lapping you!
