Congratulations to GTP_Wayne for being GTPlanet's very first Online racing winner, and to everyone else who made the effort to take part in our first experimental GTP_Event. 👍👍

I would also like to congratulate GTP_Racer_LP & GTP_J-PaP for taking the remaining podium places. 👍👍

The objective for event 01 was reached even though things didn't always go to plan, and it was good to see that we were able to work around the problems that PD threw at us occasionally, and in doing so, managed to bring this event to a satisfactory conclusion.

The objective was to come up with a working model for all future Online events whilst we remain stuck with racing in the public arena.

We hope to get Event 02 posted soon. 👍

Hint: there will be no offline stage next time. 👍

GTP Event 01 is now officially over.

The final race was between Racer_LP, WayneGTC and myself.

We ran 5 races, positions 1-3 were awarded points 3-1. One with most points won.

Track was daytona road 650pp. We all used the Amuse S2000.

To sum up the results here is the points round up

WayneGTC - 3 2 3 3 2 = 13 total and deserving winner!
Racer_LP - 1 3 2 1 3 = 10
J-PaP - 2 1 1 2 1 = 7

A congratulations to WayneGTC for winning the event. He did great. Racer_LP also did great to nab second. Most of the races were WayneGTC and Racer_LP challenging each other.

This was a real great event & once again thanks all of you and the race admin for your hard work.

👍 to all the fair drivers I had the opportunity to meet thanks to that event.
Winning against all of you wasn't easy and was very demanding in terms of focus and self control. I just tried to be as relax as possible and do less mistake possible.

The more important is the pleasure I had during those great races and want to thank you all for this

It was great taking part in this, even though I've fallen off the radar a bit in GTP I feel I've missed out on a lot. Big up to all the admins for setting up the event!

I'm actually spending most of my GT5 time here at GTP even if I'm still active in some other european forums

Anyway I'm proud of this title, and enjoyed every races I had vs all GTP members in this event.
