Oh dear what an idiot i uploaded the wrong file.
Here is the correct one if it's not too late.
Sphinx sorry for wasting your time if i'm still DQ'd i'll accept that, i probably deserve it for my stupidity
gundalini.
It wasn't too late. The only problem I have with it is the fact that I've just spent more time verifying your "correct one" only to find that's it's the same replay you originally submitted.
I can understand your confusion i'm confused as well i don't know how i managed to send the wrong replay twice.
To make matters worse for myself i've deleted my clean race after i sent the bad one a second timeif there is a prize for idiot of the month can i nominate myself.
I'm very sorry to have wasted your time please accept my apology.
gundalini...
You supplied the correct replay, but it turns out to be dirty . The replay you submitted (twice) matches the race time you submitted, 5:52.234. I find it highly unlikely (based on years of experience) that you ran two races that resulted in the exact same time.
yes indeed, your race is dirty, at the end of lap 2 you also hit the wall slightly on the bankingIt may sound stupid but... I just realized I can watch my replay from the view behind the car (press select!!!)! I have checked my replay again I have to consider it doubtful hence dirty. What looked ok from view inside the car and tv camera does not look so from behind the car. I think I might have leave the track for a fraction of second with at least 3 wheels. I hope no one wasted the time verifying my replay...
I've got to say that at least I've learned how to watch replays properly![]()
Back to Spec III time setting.
It was a good training of gtp events rules (it's my first one). I hope not only for me.

Yes i understand that and that's were i confused myself the time i submitted was from that replay which i shouldn't have submitted obviously.
I just hope the members here realise it was a mistake and i wasn't trying to cheat as i never have in anything and never will.

It's not 100% clear that 3 wheels were off track due to the low quality of the youtube replay, but in a higher quality replay there is certainly grounds for a second opinion. However, this becomes somewhat academic due to the wall touch that came directly after the possible off-track incident:
I have a question about the DQ of Joe. How is that 4 wheels off track? I thought it was to a certain extent I.E. grass and cutting too much curb. That should not be DQ'd. If that picture is why he is DQ'd.
Quote from Sphinx's thread:Where white and yellow lines are placed along the edge of the track determine the boundry of the track. There are however some areas where this is not the case, therefore, please use common sense to determine the boundary in these areas.
Where are these "not the case" lines? I really thought the only line where it's not the case is the exit of T2. I know this track incredibly well and if that's not it, then I have no clue. Please help on this. I don't see why actual races like the 24 hour race at Daytona, they rule that as in bounds. i understand where and when it's unexceptionable, like cutting corners to pick up time but, I don't think DQ'ing Joe is the right thing to do.
The exceptions are at the junction between the infield and the oval. The oval has a yellow line that runs along the bottom of the track, all the way around. There is also a gap (with no white line) between the bottom yellow line and the infield boundary white line.
Obviously, you must cross the yellow line to enter and exit the infield, and there isn't a white line specifying exactly where this is. However, you can use common sense to see where you should be. This is especially evident at the exit of the first infield section.
The picture from Joe's replay clearly shows a violation of the rules as laid out for this event, and those are the only rules that matter. There are no exceptions to the boundary and AI touching rules, and any violation will result in a DQ.
Here it is.
(4 wheels off track + numerous AI touches )![]()
I just want to stress that I will only allow non GTP_Tagged replays for this event. This rule will be strictly adhered to in all future events. 👍
Hope in the future you have some tighter regulations Sphinx
Vaxen is spot on, as always. 👍 I hope this answered your query, Mine's_GTR?
I'm afraid I have DQ'd you also. To be honest I'm somewhat disappointed with the outcome of this submission, perhaps I was expecting (perhaps wrongly) more from a division 1 driver.
It's clear that you also fell foul to the 2 wheels on track at all times rule, you clearly go off track at the exact place as Joe did. (the reason for your earlier post attempting to defend Joe?)
What I'm mostly disappointed about is the clear disregard to the no AI touch rule. I believe (I lost count to be honest) you had about 4 AI touches.
Yeah, I'm so sorry. Waste of time for you guys. But. I promise, I WILL not dissapoint in Spec III.![]()
Given this thread was originally started on Oct 7th at 4:33 PM, are all of the replay submissions required to be sent/posted before Oct 14 at 4:33 PM?
GTP_xTaggerx_Stage 01 Replay Submission
Edit: Had to re-attach the replay file as I did not zip it properly the first time.
Perhaps including a hint that you should watch your own replay at least two times.Be assured, the next event will be. 👍
Perhaps including a hint that you should watch your own replay at least two times.
One time using the chase view: this will clearly show if you're touching walls/AI with the back of the car (or if AI is touching you), something you simply can't see in any other view.
The other using the hood or bumper cam view: this will show clearly if you're hitting anything in front. This is not always apparent from the chase view, since your own car may be blocking the view and you can't tell whether it was hit or very near-miss.

That one is new for me, what button to press?you can view and select the AI car infront or behind you.
Push one of the buttons on the D-pad.
Edit: I think?

When i view my replays i chose those 2 views and to be just on the safe side you can view and select the AI car infront or behind you. This kind of event watching replays to make sure took me a good side of 20 minutes (sad for some)but i made sure that their were clean from every angle possible.
This first event is all about learning, knowing what standards we are expecting from our drivers in most areas of OLR, and although you and others have learnt the hard way, I'm sure you will be in a better position than most in the next event.
Yes you are correct, what i have learnt from this is not to have more than one of the same replay on PS3 hard driveand to be alot more diligent when submitting a replay thanks.👍
gundalini...
Edit: By being more diligent I meant ensuring that i uploaded the correct replay.
Thanks gundalini...
My replay is attached.
