You can't get the game for free. If you have a Japanese PSN, what you could do is download the Japanese version (NTSC-J) of GRAN TURISMO 5 PROLOGUE.i got a japan account and i dont know how to download the game for free.
My suggestion is: just take in mind before the buy, if you have friends from any region that use the online, because you'll be able only to play with the users of the same region that you buy the game (until these days.. maybe on the future it'll change, PD is testing that).
I also suggest you the Bluray copy instead of the PSN one.

Hello guys. Ive been on GTP for awhile under a different username (doesnt mean i posted anything.. hehe) I was trying to find some type of intro thread couldnt find one so thought i would post here. But anyways, I recently got back in to GT after a 2 year break from GT4. I am Japanese but live in NC. Hope to see you guys online!

It seems to be for real, that the New update to ps3 2,41 have fixed the problem with the Downloaded version of the game, You can now register a new account, and move your saves, and it works, Other Users on your PS3, can now use the game as well, but starts from scratch unless they move your saves..
If you want to download your Bought chineese version again, go to "View downloads" in your PSN head menu, and you can take it down again. for ever and ever that is - as long as you use your registretet user ( the one you bought your Gt5p with), then as a new user on your machine, you can play the game, and even copy saved game into your account, and replays for that matter..
I'll registrer a GTP account soon..

Ken773 [JP] signed up a few days ago and asked me about changing his name to GTP_, I told him he has to go through you has he contacted you yet? It seems he cant use private messaging yet for some reason so I can't contact him and he probably can't contact you. I don't think his English is very good either so it's hard to let him know what he needs to do

Ok guys one simple Q. just to make things clear.
When Gt Tv goes live (=pay per view).. In the new GTP_xxxxxxx master account, we wouldn't be able to purchase anything cause all credit cards detail is in the other main master account ??
Also there's no way to create a new Sub-account cause it'll have the same name as the master.

Maybe we could add the credit card details to both accounts?
I hope that one day GT give us the possibility to put a nickname on the car so all we could use the unique master account on PS3 but with the GTP thing painted on any part of the car. That would be great.
