Welcome to all new members, and congratulations to all of you for the excellent divisional placings 👍

All the best

It may be a stupid question but anyway here I go.
How the divisions work. Are the best in division 1 and it goes down to 5 depending on your driving skill?

BTW I'm a new GTP_ member. I'm happy to be a part of the BIG GTP club.

Welcome to new drivers and a special välkommen to GTP_Strittan89. It's good to have more swedish racers with a GTP tag.

I saw Patrik is baned so I think that he needs to be removed from the registry.
Sorry if I bothering or if I wrong.

Hey! Why has my name gone off the registration list? I was one of the first to register my name, and its not there now. :grumpy:

Can you put me back on please? My PSN is: GTP_magburner- Thanks 👍

Hi,

About a year ago, the moderators decided for the purposes of online racing and GTP competitions such as the WRS and currently running GTP Event 03, members would be split into divisions based on a qualifier they would run in GT5P.

This served to weed out people who were no longer frequenting the forums, no longer using their GTP tags for racing or competing in general etc, and also served to formalise in a way the tagged drivers who would represent GTplanet online whether in competitions or casual racing.

I imagine it was thought that if members had checked the forum recently or were active at the time of the original GTP registry qualifier, they would run it. People who didn't run the qualifier (which to be fair was no effort for the members to undertake) were removed from the registry until such time that they submitted a qualifying lap.

Nothing sinister at all though, just to help the administration and competition side of things. Just a little housekeeping too.

All the best
Maz

Oh right cool, I must of missed that then!

I am still free to use my GTP tag online in GT5:P though yes? I still race with it most of the time. I am also going to put in a qualifying lap sometime soon to get my name back on the list. 👍

Yeah absolutely, there's nothing to stop you using your tag during online racing, and seeing as you say you've been around for a while you'll know all the etiquette 👍

Definitely run the qualifier though, the events are well worth it.

when is last registration?

You can register anytime. Just be sure to dedicate a proper amount of time to the qualifier.

Also, please use proper English when posting, including CAPITAL LETTERS at the start of sentences.

I'm going to throw this out here to see what the odds of something like this applying to GT mobile will be.

A recent Kotaku article discussed here has an interesting quote regarding the online capabilities of Gran Turismo Mobile.

The PSP game will take advantage of the PlayStation 3 in another sense. Gran Turismo PSP one of the titles that will support Ad Hoc Party mode, letting gamers use the PS3 as an ad hoc server, taking the PSP experience online. Ad Hoc Party software is currently only available in Japan, but Sony Computer Entertainment America reps say a domestic release is in the works.

If I understand this correctly this will allow online play of Gran Turismo Mobile over the Internet. If this happens is this something we will consider adding as a possible function of the GTP_ Registry?

I already assume it will become an active part of our OLR community, but I was curious if GTP will consider a more "official" presence as well, assuming it works out.

I realize this would still be months away and no definitive answer can be given yet, but I thought I would bring it up now so we can be prepared for it if it looks feasible.

Thanks FoolKiller, we will keep an eye on it.👍
