Big thumbs up to all involved to get this up and running. I truly take my hat off to all of you as I can imagine it's no easy task

I'll be having a run a this tomorrow as I'm not home right now. Cannot wait :D

Off topic: loving the GTPlanet app for iPhone.

Split 15.895 Must try harder. Anybody know where the link Is for adding your splits?

Painted my car & the stripes turned White. I wanted Black.

Just post both your splits in your post, along with details of your division, etc, in your sig.

Hi, I'm a new member and I joined because of these WRS'. I'm having difficulty trying to message the bot my lap times. I click the name and it takes me to the page saying I don't have permission to. Am I doing something wrong, or am missing something?

After about 25 laps, I think I have a good baseline to tweak now.

T1: 15.926
T2: 35.800

The car is still a bit tail happy. BTW, nice combo to start with, Kevin. Photos will follow.

This car's a bit of an animal, can only manage

T1: 15.949
T2: 35.642

After about an hour of practice

You needed to have your first post approved, and I've done that.

Okay sweet, thanks. I also feel like an idiot for not scrolling down a couple inches and seeing the "GTP Registry" I shall be waiting until it reopens. Best of luck to everyone competing in this challenge.

Once I stop drifting the first, second and third hairpins I might get a decent enough time!

Loving the track. Hating the car. It's as if it doesn't know what it wants: Do I want to understeer? Maybe. Oversteer? Certainly. Wait, I think I'll understeer going into the corner and oversteer out of it. Lovely.

T1: 15.492
T2: 35.156

*edit* No disrespect to our Australian drivers here but I'd prefer it, if I could represent Austria instead ;)

Finished my first attempt. Was frustrating at first, but slowly started getting better.

T1: 15.804
T2: 36.010

I know I can go faster 👍

I read earlier that someone from D4 pulling a time like D1 there is certainly a bug or something he takes advantage of. I strongly disagree, we had a difficult to train qualifier in a brand new game (not all bought it in 2010). The car - track combo is way easier than the qualifier, and almost a month after someone sure could be in a lower division than he should. Also Qualifier was about 6 minutes long, Tsucuba is about 1 minute long. I expect much closer times in the first week.

Of course if someone can do that feat in ds3, I'm in favor of double checking his lap time and if he is worth it, move him a few divisions up.

Of course times will be closer, but there will still be a significant gap between D4 and D1, of course someone from D4 doing D2 times happens and will do at this time of the competition, but for them to be putting in Alien times would raise suspicion.

Slight improvement on the splits. .3 improvement on the line

T1: 15.665
T2: 35.210

Okay where do you look for your split times, is it when watching on the live timing monitor? If it is then i have something wrong with my splits. T1 compares with everybody but T2 is only showing around 4 seconds difference. I can watch the replay and see that T2 time is in the 35 second range. Is the Timing Monitor the wrong place to look for the split times? Help please!!

No you're looking at the right place. Just wait until you crossed both sectors (in the replay) and additionate them.
To obtain T2 time add T1 to T2 because the T2 time you see on the live timing monitor is the time elapsed between the two sectors.

In short:
15.xxx+20.xxx = 35.xxx Real T2
(T1) (T2)

Got my time down to...

T1: 15.905
T2: 36.130

with VagabondAngel's tune. Will need to send some time tweaking it to work for me though.
