Bad maths..... :)

Good MATHS this time :)

Not liking this event at all really.... Give it a go though ;)

T1: 15.916
T2: 35.608

Not the best, but still plenty of time to get lots of laps in...

Progress is slow at this point, still trying to work out some decent settings.

Also of note: Car is now over 100 miles and no HP increase. 👍

Hi Dude,
If you preface your times ith T2 & T2 the fetchbot adds your time to the leaderboard. It is very er... motivational (when you're in last anyway!)

Looks great. Just hope I can find the time this week to run. It's going to be a busy few weeks for me I think.

Seems to be reading them OK without it, but I can go back to adding them if need be.

No need to add T1 and T2, the fetchbot will pick it up fine also in the way Dude's written it?

A shiny new coat of red paint and a new transmission knocked .6 .9 off my lap. I attribute all improvement to the paint.

My splits so far after some fifteen minutes of practice:

T1: 0'16.017
T2: 0'36.434

T1: 0'15.968
T2: 0'36.413

T1: 0'15.823
T2: 0'35.730 :cheers::cheers::cheers:!!!

The car is an understeery-then-power oversteery 🤬. I haven't tried Dragonistic's tune so far and I can practice more so I think there is more time for me to shave 👍.

Also, a helpful pointer to anyone who finds it interesting. Here are the maximum speeds I found a gear could do, in Km/H with the untouched Fully Customizable tranny. The numbers aren't exactly the top maximum but a suitable give or take guide on when to change gear IN MY HUMBLE OPINON.

1->55 2-> 85 3->115 4->115 5-> Whatever you're doing to achieve fifth top speed in Tsukuba, you shouldn't be doing it :scared:.

Bit off topic

This post is my first with GTP app. Just trying it now.

Alright, we are finally started. Gotta say, I am a bit intimidated, so many fast drivers here :nervous:

I hope I can at least keep up with my class 👍

Yay, the WRS is back :D I will be trying this out this week, for some reason I like Tsukuba better in GT5 more then I ever did in GT4.

Ladies and gentlemen, START YOUR ENGINES !!!!!!!.....and tune your suspention settings:sly:

First run
T1: 15.429
T2: 34.899

Glad to see the WRS restart. 👍

First session with the wheel and I think there is a bit of tuning to be done.

T1: 15.444
T2: 34.966

D.

Keep at it 👍 Please also include your Division and control device in your signature for the benefit of the venerable Fetchbot :)

All the best
Maz

Added, too bad I don't have any better times to post along with it...

Yet :D

Many thanks for adding the sig, and don't forget a lot of the guys here put in many laps to achieve the times they do 👍

All the best
Maz

Hmm. I improved slightly - surprising.

T1: 15.565
T2: 35.285

Here's my setup if anyone wants to try it: (edited 15.02.11 17:05)

Transmission:
5-speed close ratio (fixed) 130mph

Drivetrain: (front/rear)
Initial Torque: -/10
Acceleration: -/40
Deceleration: -/18

Suspension: (front/rear)
Ride Height: -25/-25
Spring Rates (kgf/mm): 9.9/9.0
Dampers Extension: 3/3
Dampers Compression: 3/3
Anti-Roll Bars: 3/3
Camber: 2.5/2.0
Toe: 0/0

Brake Balance (front/rear): 7/7

I've discovered a potential issue though.. with replays of fastest laps:

I set a fast time, exited the run and saved the replay for the fastest lap. I then went straight back in for another run and improved my time, exited and saved the new fastest lap replay (as a new save, not over the previous one). Then when I went to replay theatre and watched my new fastest lap replay, it was showing the wrong lap - it showed my previous best lap replay (the first one I saved) and not the actual fastest lap (the 2nd saved replay). Consequently, the time I posted above is actually from my 2nd fastest lap since that is the one I have a replay for... Anyone else encountered anything like this?

Are you sure you didn't have an off and a red clock on that next lap?

NINE_HUNDRED
All the mods just got removed from my car... Fun.

Happened to me too. I have a normal and GTP account. Came back into the GTP one, and all purchases had gone, but the oil was still changed??
Dunno why, just done it all again. Hopefully for the last time...

No definitely not, it registered as a clean valid lap... Another oddity is that the replay in question actually shows my fastest lap time in the replay title details (if you get my meaning) but still plays the 2nd fastest lap.

After I did it the 2nd time, I saved it manually just incase. May want to do it too.

That, unfortunately, is normal. The time for your lap is displayed in the replay data overview. When watching the replay, the sector times are recorded as you run the lap, meanwhile, the time shown in the timing screen will be the previous lap run before setting your new lap. At no point in the replay will you be able to see the lap time that the replay data is for.

If you enter the timing screen whilst watching the replay you should see the sectors turn white (from grey) as you progress.

I follow you - so the Best Lap shown in the timing screen (at the top) in the replay is for the previous best lap, not the one the replay is actually showing? Relief... thanks mate. 👍

Split 15.895 Must try harder. Anybody know where the link Is for adding your splits?

Painted my car & the stripes turned White. I wanted Black.
