I can't tune to save my life but until someone who knows what they are doing posts a tune here's a starter that made my Mazda seem less like a steam boat and more like an unresponsive barge;

Suspension:
-15/0
13.3/12.4
9/2
8/2
7/1
2.5/1.8
0.10/-0.20

LSD:
5/11/8

BB:
5/4

If i can give a suggestion, try running more even ride height, too low front vs rear will upset the car, it will be too responsive vs the grip you have :)
i run -14/-14
:)

edit: while im here... heres the tune im using at this moment, in case that help bringing more people to run this week event!

ride height -14/-14
spring rate: 14.0/8.5
dampers:
6/6
5/5 (more dampers work well too, havent tested enought yet)
anti roll 5/6
camber 1.8/0.8
toe: 0.25/-0.35
brake bias 3/7

diff:
6
22
15

Goodluck everyone!

Many thanks Mike, that advice along with your tune will certainly help 👍

That’s kind of you Mike, and please, call me Jon.

To be honest, when we moved to the US from Australia in May last year, I was expecting to be able to run more hours each week and not less, as well as being able to race in the online series every Wednesday. The reality is that the paltry 3-4 hours every week I used to run are a pipe dream here. Between frequently having to be up at 5am for work and the kids going to sleep later as they get older, the window for me to be able to run in the evenings has narrowed dramatically.

As a consequence, my participation on any level has been extremely patchy over the last year, and my competitiveness seems to have been harmed as a result. Nevertheless, I am determined to reverse both of those trends over the next few weeks at least to see if I can capture some of my old form, such that it was

Race on gentlemen (and ladies)

Finally had time to sit down with TT #92! Lots of time left on the track.

An FF car finally! Will get on this in a while :D.

I know, let's call it a clean lap if you only hit the wall once or twice and promise not to do it again. Ugh.

Man I had a great run, wrong tires, standard tranny, oh well! Splits doing it right.

33.424
54.679

Much better up to the second part of the swimming pool, still faster than my previous lap though
32.999

Great idea...Monaco in slow-motion! :dopey:

It's quite a bit more fun than I thought it would be. 👍

Decided to run this one since Jon showed up.

Car not broken in yet, using Mike's tune (THANKS!).
33.066
53.791

Similar time to T2, but better T3:
32.997
53.850

Umm, Mike? Might you have a typo or a misconfigured car? 1.4sec to Gooners says "Please go directly to the Mothership. Do not pass GO, and make sure to MOOO! while you're at it!"

I thought that too but I had a 32.8 and 53.4, just not in a lap together... So for Aliens a 52 may well be possible lol. I hope it's a typo though :sly:.

No problem Lucas! :) Good to see you running as well! 👍

Yesterday i checked and double checked everything to make sure i didnt had anything wrong, look like its all right, i hope i didnt overlooked anything.

I can make a video of t1 if it can help, the goal is to run as close as possible to the apexes. imagine the shortest line that allow the most simple driving. for the long left hand on top of the hill try to imagine it as one curve that you want to be the closest to the inside as possible, doesnt mean you want to follow the inside too much otherwise you have to slow down too much to get in line for the last corner of T1. aim at the inside and trailbrake, let the car slow down while downshifting no brake, it shouldnt go further than the white line in the middle, then get in throttle before it slow down and steer too much, the fastest way is when you are able to keep almost the same steering input all the way through and just control it with the initial trailbrake/lift off/get back into throttle all just once.

for the first corner again it have to be close to the apex, try not touching the curb on right, the goal is to accelerate soon, braking late is not good, too soon you will have to fight with the car to steer enought, even the way to brake can make a difference, i tried braking as quick as i could and it was better braking fast but gradualy rather than smash the brake... :) brake as long as you can in straight line, if you want to turn start trailbraking or release brakes.

i now use dampers one value stronger for front, rear stay the same. :)

edit:
Heres a video of t1, sorry for the quality im a little busy today i dont have time to use the hdpvr.
I hope it still give an idea, its a 32,610

Thanks, Mike. Nice of you to give those hints. 👍

Your T2 is quite amazing though, there must be a magic way to get through all those tight turns.
Will give it another go for sure.

EDIT: Since we have a fixed gearbox, we can talk about which gears to use for turns. :) Like your vid shows, I had already figured out that 3rd was faster for turn 1. 👍

No problem! :)

I wanted to wait before talking about t2, to let everyone find it by themselves, but i dont mind talking about it if you guys want to know what i did, its not top secret hehe :)

handbrake!!

i use small burst before some apex to make the rear just slip slightly and it allow you to get on throttle sooner :)

D'oh! :dunce: Should have known. ;) Thank you again, will give it a try. 👍

Could someone tell mewhat full power after break-in on this beast is? I just want to make sure I got the correct parts on the car as the exhaust bit is a little confusing to me. I'm showing 202 HP after break-in. I have the Sports Exhaust Manifold, Cat. Converter Sports, and Standard Exhaust. Is that right? Thanks, and sorry for being so retarded. I'm just gonna blame it on the medication. :sly:

Terrible T1, great T2, average T3 for a tenth at the line. Think I'm looking for about 0.4 on the lap
