Fluffed T1... totally missed the apex at the hairpin and lost traction on the exit, which is a shame - this would've been a monster lap for me. Nailed sector 2 though - my best so far by at least 0.05. A decent 3rd sector also but I'm not happy with that 1st sector at all... so I'm still looking for 0.2 on the lap. No matter how fast I go, there always seem to another annoying 2 tenths... :P

My finalised setup if anyone wants to try it:

Aero:
40/63

Transmission:
Max 186mph then adjust
2nd 2258
3rd 1789
4th 1436
5th 1170
6th 0981

LSD:
5/13/5

Suspension:
-9/-36
15.3/13.3
9/7
9/7
7/4
2.5/0.9
0.00/0.00

Brakes:
4/7 ABS 9

Nice way to start my 1000th post!

35.122
34.299

Unfortunately I dropped 0.3 on my T3 but it's still a shade faster at the line. Using my gears (modded from Kev's baseline I think) and a less extreme version of Wes' suspension.

NEW SPLITS!!!

T1: 35.148
T2: 34.127

Usaully I get to T1 when I drive very very good in a 35.5 so when I crossed the T1 checkpoint and saw a 35.1 in blue I got a massive monster adrenaline rush and alls I could do was try not to screw up bigtime the whole rest of the lap. Its a huge foggy blur after the T1 checkpoint in my memory.

These splits might seem good for a DS3 driver but a few laps before this I went thru T2 4.2 tenths lower! hahahaha

Finito l'installazione - Setup Finished.

Wish I could just nail T2 or T3, obviously 3 tenths in T2 left, and I believe 2 tenths in T3.

She's driving absolutely beautiful for me now. :)

Been away for 48hrs, and about to be gone all day Sat & Sun too. Only had time to try the latest tune staring me in the face (Thanks Chris! 👍).

Good improvements in T2 and T3, will work on T1 later, if I get another chance to drive.

35.937

35.326
34.105

Can't do T1. Rarely under .500 so I'll take these splits and run.

Great splits Jack - I hate you :sly:

Dude it is crazy. I know you will soon get splits to leap frog over me on the splits leaderboard. We are good competition for eachother.:)👍

If I put my best T1 and T2 together tho Im going to put some of the blue crew in my rearview. hahahaha

If I put my best splits together, I'm right on your ass!

Some good news for you I just found out I can go 1 tenth faster thru T3 than I did on my best so far OT.:)

You could maybe be crossing the line ahead of me already you know? lol

Edit: New splits.

T1: 35.375
T2: 33.809

I had my ghost quite a bit behind me as I exited the small chicane before the last big corner...I come out of the big corner and get to watch him more than half the distance between us in the rearview down the finishing straight. I was wondering am I going to beat him to the line? I did but only by 1 tenth. That last corner is much more difficult to take with a DS3 and sometimes I dont even make it thru at WOT and wreck. Been passed by my ghost about 4 times before the line.

Are you going all the way down to (but not hitting) the rumble? Very critical you get inside for that turn, or as you say, you might not make it through.
Nice T2 👍

Edit: FTW, I've discovered for the high speed right/left in T1, a minimum speed of 135mph can be maintained, if that helps anyone.

135!? At best I manage 131 so that's impressive.

Last turn I find really easy, I actually spear left and then turn hard right to lessen the angle, get it spot on more times than not - the two tight turns before it however, it feels like I am crawling through those at 10mph

@Jack, which setup are you using? ;)

Yes I do try to but its quite challenging sometimes to get in the groove so to speak and not be wide or touch the inside rumble and then try to keep two wheels on the red and white rumble not the curbing next to it. I usually lose that fight the rear end whips violently twice and I smack into the yellow Pit sign. My current tune is a little better doesnt happen as often(knock on wood) lol

With my wheel that corner is easy...now the slow tight stuff is extremly challenging and all you wheel people who are doing this TT impress me greatly with your skill.👍 I end up spinning donuts all the time.

Edit: Millross use wges max min suspension tune but increase the rear ride to -27 camber 1.5 .8 toe -20 - 20 LSD 5 12 5, run a tranny with 2.000 final tweak 3rd gear so its not to high or low just right, your going to be coming out of the slow stuff in 3rd. lower 4th by 100 and 5th 50 BB 8 0 enter the second tunnel in 4th stay in 4th. do whatever you want with 6th. Sometimes when I come into the second hairpin i will downshift to 2nd but i upshift to 3rd when i get on the gas. No strong steering. No traction control. If you use strong with this tune its like tying a parachute to the back of the car.

Its just a good turning not to wild but still a little wild tune. I actually set my fastest T1 and T2 with 2.0 camber on the front. Im still tweaking on the tune and I set my new best OT with 1.5 on the front.

Impressive T2 Jack 👍

Thank you. Its 1 tenth less than my best thru T2 so far and way faster than my average T2 time.

Now to run a lower OT I really have to do something special thru all 3 sectors. I can still mathematically go lower. We will see if I do or not. That ghost is wicked crazy fast now.

Well after a very long weekend session, I'll admit defeat in the LSD battle... 5 initial is without a doubt faster in the first two sectors. I'm not sure about T3 though because I was not able to beat my last ghost even once in that sector, regardless of LSD settings...

T1: 34.832
T2: 33.583

Lost about a tenth of that lead to the line but I'm just glad I didn't lose more :)

Haha, I hope not. Might have developed a bit of OCD though :nervous:

T1: 34.875
T2: 33.517

Got back that tenth in T3, sorry :sly:

That's some OCD you've got there... :scared: Sweet splits 👍

I've lost the plot in Sector 1... can't seem to get under 35.0 any more. Sector 2 OK but Sector 3 marginal. Still, up at the line...

Some great times being laid down this week. I still have just over 4 tenths to find on the lap, but it is there and I think I'll be able to grab a good chunk of it in my next session (hopefully).

Those are some great pictures Manuelos

Good luck with that Jon 👍

Found some pace in 1st sector again, lost a bit in the 2nd, and far from my best 3rd. Still looking for 0.2 I think...

34.900
33.596

Just to confirm what Dominic said about T1 - maintaining a minimum 135mph through the fast right hander helps alot in that sector. 👍

Thanks Chris. I think the tricky thing this week is spending the first 150miles c**king about with set-ups on what I think is a very technical track. It's so easy to make a slight error that will cost you a tenth or two it's sometimes difficult to see whether it's set-up or driving that's lost or gained the time...

Yes, very much so.
I still need T2 magic to have a chance in hell at catching these guys this week, and I've no idea whether to blame my driving or setup, I assume it's my driving though.
