My biggest T2 gains have been from going hard into the right/left just before the first tunnel. I take the right as fast as I can and exit on the left side, sacrificing speed in the tight left instead. It also seems to help if you drift a little on some corner entries.

That may be it, I'll have to try, I keep going far right to gain a hair on exit, but clearly I'm fudging something there. I'm 99% positive it's in the first half of T2.

OK T1, poor T2, PB in T3 to give a tenth and a half at the line...

35.164
34.425

Still three tenths to find on the lap, primarily in T2.

EDIT: Boooyaaaaa. Found them! Dropped a tenth in T3 to my PB in the chicane, but still OK. I may be submitting this lap :D

35.144
34.008

And then.... 💡

35.012

Chris' tune with my gears, though I had to change BB to 6/7.
Now if I can get my T1 back, and get that last tenth in T3 I'll be happy.

Good job Carlos. Im not asking you but im a little worried about what your best T3 is compared to mine.:)

EDIT: Whoa dude really nice new splits and a new PB thru T3? OMG! LOL

Also CSL awesome T2.

There's always magic in Vagabond's tunes with my gears, at least for me. :D
It's a shame I couldn't nail T1 for the life of me, my best through the left/right is 135mph minimum, this lap was 131 = Yuck.

Thanks. PB the first time round in T3, exactly a tenth off it on the lap with the splits on the leaderboard.

I got to T2 faster than you once today only to have a freak never before accident in T3 coming out of the tunnel my outside rear tire went red at highspeed and snap hooked me into the guardrail.

I did a 33.7 time thru T2 that lap.

Hello fellow WRS-ers.
I realize this is in the wrong thread but it appears the Week 24 results thread is dead.
I was wondering if someone from the NTSC region could give my lap a verification?
It has 3 views and been up there for a few days but nobody has said anything.:nervous:

Back on topic...I should have some time to get splits on the boards today.
I haven't had any time this week so far to run it and I love GVS.:(

I can now.

Sorry teecro, I'll take a look tomorrow, unless someone beats me to it.
Been busy slamming my head against the wall with the current week.

I have no idea how to go much more than 0.5 faster than this, over the whole lap.
I'm nowhere near 135mph on T1's fast right-left. Frustrated, but it may be due to just not enough time on it (although I've done 466miles!)

Nice job D3'ers way above me, poolhaas at the top! 👍

Only 212kmh (131.7mph) here Lucas. I reckon that there are only a few doing 135mph through there...

I got 136, but promptly stuffed it in the left.

The only thing I can think of to say is timing, in my session earlier I was letting off to late, (just found out, but can't drive T2 now:grumpy:) which was why I only got 131 on my best lap, and to early puts you into the rumble on the right, it's a very delicate situation there.

Indeed (or the other way round for me) :)

First go at this after spending the weekend fishing fragmented clutch plates out of the crankcase and putting in new plates :grumpy:

Tried a few variations of the tunes posted here, and while I actually like the way Wes's tune turns, it's a little too touchy for me with my heavy lead feet. Tried Chris' tune and loved the box, then merged with Doms rear end (no rudeness intended  ) and a few tweaks and now I love it 👍

There is more time in this, experimented with HB in the exit of the 1st tunnel of T2 and saw 33.8xx but subsequently crashed in the tunnel of T3. Will submitt with this unless I can get home early from work tommorrow.

I had that feeling too, but then I figured out my driving style was all wrong the first few days. After changing that I think I gained 6 tenths in 2 sectors.

For those that are still trying different things, here's my set-up, converted to Wes' suspension, but with some of the alien-ness removed :sly:

I think 217 is the fastest I've gone through there but on my current best lap I drop down to 214 with maybe a brief flash of 213, so it's not really a crucial point in my opinion. I don't look at the instruments in this turn so the speed ends up whatever I need to clear the corner, if I try to focus on staying above a certain number I just spend way too much time going off the track.

Yeah I just ran again and I think I'm going through slighty faster than I stated previously.

Just ran a 1'09.06x to the T2 split  but made a mess of the big tunnel and ended up running a T3 6 tenths off the pace :banghead:

Might try again later, but I reckon there may be another tenth or two within reach...

Hi guys. Im new to the WRS. Ive just submitted my qualifying times to vaxen. Waiting to hear back about which division I'll be in.
From my understanding I'm allowed to enter the WRS. if this is correct I should he able to do week 25 yes?
If anyone could confirm this then it would be more appreciated.

You're allowed to post your splits here, no problems there
You will not be able to submit your final time to fetchbot if your not put in a division yet.

Unfortunately no. I'm in the same position and was with week 24, I posted my time only to have to remove it. When the results come out there is a rule forbidding you from posting your time in the results thread and any time you submit to the fetchbot will be rejected.

You can still participate and compare your times. You can post your splits here and in the results thread you can only share your times by PM or other private methods, not in the thread.

Good news though, the next batch will be processed in the second week of august, which should only be a few days providing Vaxen isn't too busy :)

Just put in 5 laps before bed and also ran 217kmh (137.8mph) through there. Having said that, I think that there is more time to be won and lost in the hairpins. Reviewed my replay for that 1'09.06x and found I'd done a mid 33.7xx in T2. That's by far my fastest through there, and now my trifecta is nearly 4 tenths faster than my current fast lap. Should have just submitted and left it alone :guilty:

Will have one last go tomorrow evening

:)I know how you feel.

I can potentially go 5 tenths lower. I got to T1 once in a 35.060 today. Otherwise I drove extremly poorly for the most part. Every once in awhile Id get within 3 tenths of my OT. But usually id be 1 or 2 seconds slower.

Dropped the ball a little in T2 but the first sector was sweet. :) Up 1 hundredth at the line.

T1: 34.738
T2: 33.690

Finally managed to get some start splits in.

T1: 35.961
T2: 34.740

I had an absolutely dreadful T3 that lap, yet it was still my fastest one.:indiff:
Definitely see spots where time was lost, I hope to make it up.:nervous:

EDIT: Quick question...Is the small concrete part [like after the fast right-left in T1] just on the outside of the rumble strips legal?

EDIT 2: New splits...
T1: 35.850
T2: 34.403

Nice first splits and as I understand it you have to keep two wheels on tarmac or on the red and white rumble strips. Anything outside of the red white part isnt track. If im wrong hopefully someone will say so because that would give me alot more room thru that corner and the last one especially using all the curbing.:)

Im pretty sure Im right tho.👍
