With my best splits combined the lap is faster on hard tires than my best on soft tires which means I have to go back and push on the soft tires a bit more. I may join the Thursday practice race, but unsure at this point so not going to sign up yet.

I ran a couple of short stints on the Racing Hard. Certainly combined well with the setup I already had on the F10 from the Seasonal Event. Turns in nicely on the hairpin, but probably not enough, judging from Spurgy's sector time and post about taking the hairpin with much less lock than I had to do. And it's a bit too stiff over the kerbstones in the chicane. Other than that I am reasonably happy with the setup.

I'm looking forward to my first real event with the F10, since I ran into connection issues on the last time we tried to use it in a Special Event on Suzuka.

You need to be on the GTP_Registry first... read this: GTP WRS-Online : Comprehensive Guide.

You have enough time to run the qualifier, get your provisional division assignment and build up enough credits ($10M) to buy the F10... And once you are on the registry you can take part in all WRS events:

GTP Weekly Race Series Online Events
GTP Weekly Race Series Time Trials

Until you are on the registry AND fill out the online registration form the system will ignore any attempt to register.

Knowing your driving skills, you can definitely be in D1 Silver 👍

Ill probably pull out as well my Internet just won't let me connect to the lounge, I managed yesterday but as soon as I was going to the A lounge it disconnected and wouldn't let me join. Ill have to sort it out otherwise the lag will be terrible especially on this track. Hopefully it's sorted before the race day

At the top of the hour I'll set the Auto Race Start Cycle to 20 minutes and anyone on track when that completes is in and we'll start where the grid puts us... although we will do the formation lap and standing start procedure so the race is set to 79 laps and the green light goes on at the 3:00.000 mark.

Ahh, don't worry Tim. If there's one thing I do have it's alot of practice with commentary. I'm really looking forward to broadcasting this race probably as much as you guys are looking forward to racing! 👍
