Great race!!! The car is a dream to drive at Spa compared to Fuji!

Guys are planning on running a full race at Fuji in about 15 minutes. (Main lounge)

Haven't heard anything from Frank or Stef in a while... Are they still in or do we have to drop the entire Team Belgium?

We can certainly find another team for n0ize if that's the case. There are many teams with just 3.

Might make sense for the 2 Nederlands teams and 1 Belgium team to consolidate into 2 teams instead of 3 (there are 8 of them now assuming Frank and Stef are still committed). And then you and Pekka could keep Team Nordic and pick up n0ize and maybe another free agent?

Tryed a 1 stop but didn't take enough fuel.

Barring (more) kid disasters, I'm planning on practicing tonight, and tomorrow morning, as well as the noon (for me) practice listed below.

Tonight I won't be able to start until about 9:30pm PT earliest.

Saturday:

• Fuji @ 19:00-20:30 GMT - 7 lap races w/a 10 minute auto race start cycle.
• Spa @ 20:30-22:00 GMT - 5 lap races with a 10 minute auto race start cycle.

Teams: If you guys have an idea when you might want to qualify next week please start making plans with a qualifying steward. We've got ~50 drivers to qualify so we can't have everyone wait until the last minute! We do expect busy days on Thursday and Friday, but if you know what time you team can get together plan ahead.

Note: You can qualify solo if you can't arrange a time with your team, but then you don't get the option of using draft, etc.

Please review the qualification section in the details post and ask any questions before you start!

Note that we are going to have a few windows open Sat/Sun for cycled short practice races on Saturday and Sunday. These will be shorter races, but will be focused on team tactics. Try to bring a teammate if possible. No need to sign up, just come by if you are available.

Saturday:

• Fuji @ 19:00-20:30 GMT - 7 lap races w/a 10 minute auto race start cycle.
• Spa @ 20:30-22:00 GMT - 5 lap races with a 10 minute auto race start cycle.

Sunday:

• Spa @ 19:00-20:30 GMT - 5 lap races with a 10 minute auto race start cycle.
• Fuji @ 20:30-22:00 GMT - 7 lap races w/a 10 minute auto race start cycle.

Event Settings (GTP_3D3Racing)

• Start Type: Grid Starts (no formation)
• Grid Order: Fastest First (initial race), Reverse Grid Based on Previous Result (remaining)

Main lounge is setup. Running some free run at Spa and then will switch to Fuji at 19:00.

Auto race cycles start in about 30 minutes. Expect some experimentation as far as team work.

Switching to Spa for races at 20:30 GMT.

A couple notes:

The event structure is changing ever so slightly:

The starting order for round 2 is now going to be based on your quali lap instead of fast lap from round 1. The logistics of us entering the fast laps is just too difficult.

After this chane the stewards can enter all other info required for the round 2 grids / room assignments from the lounge without leaving so this will reduce the delay between races. The remaining information for the official results can be filled in later.

So make your qualification runs count this week as they'll apply to both rounds!

And we want every driver to save the replay, just in case. I'd love to get an NTSC copy of all races for a cool video montage if at all possible.

Team restructuring is required due to cancellations:

Vagabond and Hasselmoff have cancelled leaving us without sufficient numbers for "UK Tees". My thought is to send one of the remaining two (Vinal & Dano) to Team UK (same region) and the other to Team Nordic (the flags are a nice match ). Vinal and Dano, please work this out between yourselves adn the teams, I've moved your both to the free agent list for now, but there is room on other teams including the two I mentioned (UK and Nordic).

And Team USA is consolidating into two full teams of four rather than have three teams short teams. Jump_Ace can't make the race. Porsche is going to drive for Team Canada to fill out their team (in place of T-L who hasn't responded to team PMs). That leaves eight drivers on two teams and one USA free agent (Jared) that needs to be adopted by another team. Teams with an open slot at this point (assuming Nordic and UK take Vinal and Dano) are Netherlands, Oranje, Belgium.

PURE Sweden has a fourth member that is about to submit his qualifier and complete that team. Dennis... you better get him moving as the *hard* deadline is a couple days away (Aug 6). If he doesn't have his times (and replay) submitted by then he's out. I've send him PMs and he's replied saying he's finished and going to submit, but haven't seen anything yet.

Team Belgium I haven't heard from except for n0ize. Daniel, are you in contact with Frank and Stef? Are they still 100% confirmed for this event? I hope so!

This reorg puts us at 12 teams which is actually perfect for 3 rooms. Most teams will be with 4 drivers so we will have very full lounges. There are still going to be two open slots.​

OK, I checked and we got his email with the attached replays (which is the hard part 👍), but the PM hasn't arrived. To be official he needs to also send the PM (with the times only) to our fetch-bot (which was not done -- see below). That should only take a second, but for it to work in our automated system the PM has to come from his account on GTP.

Submission:

All submissions must be sent to the WRSFetchBot via PM:

• Please name the PM subject title GTP_WRS Registration.
• Please include in your PM, your GTP_Registry PSN ID, your location (Country) and all 3 times -
• Sector 2 Time, Sector 3 Time and Total Time (Sector 2 + Sector 3 (Timecalculator link))
