I was looking through a few paints and there are some with GB themed names like "Silverstone something" and I saw an "Inverness" one. There's probably more, maybe we could go down that route?

Yeh definitely could work although the only problem I see with that is what do those colors actually look like? I feel like they should look british more so than have a GB related name

I've got your livery loaded up.

Team USA Red is going to drop the red/white/blue livery as those colors are too popular on the flags. We're thinking purple at this point, but whatever it is will be different. In our opinion, it's better to be able to quickly identify your teammate in the mirror versus match the flag colors. Of course, doing both would be ideal, but given the frequency of red/white/blue appearing on flags we'll just leave those colors to others.

Just waiting for Lucas to mess around with some paints and put them on share.

TBH I was expecting Europe to be the easiest region to cover. You guys take to much vacation.

DZ, it doesn't help your cause trying to spawn a team when your status is reserve.

We could start "TEAM USA White" and try to recruit a few more USA drivers. Looks like a few other teams will consist of only 3 drivers so USA could do the same and split into 3 teams of 3 rather than 2 of 4. We have 9 total in US (including yourself) so we are there already although with 3 reserves that's not going to work unless some confirm or we recruit more.

Note:

All teams must have at least 3 confirmed drivers by August 1st.

The tournament structure depends on knowing the number of teams and we can't have too many last minute changes. On August 1st if there are still teams that don't satisfy the above criteria we'll reorganize a bit and at that point plug in free agents regardless of region.

If most of the teams are 3 drivers it's good in a way... allow us to get 5 teams in a lounge rather than split into 4 lounges.

There are still several teams of 2 and those have to be rounded out eventually:

@hasslemoff -- any luck recruiting more drivers from "Tees"... if not you'll have to round out with a general UK driver or two. Especially considering you are reserve yourself.
@JTV -- any luck "down under"?

Given that redneck is defined as a "derogatory slang" or "often disparaging" I think we'll just stay clear of that.

As I said before, Lucas is working on an alternative (maybe purple based) paint for one of the teams.

And it's not because I've got anything against patriotism... please don't go there in this thread as I'm sure you can find another place to debate that kind of stuff if you desire... but there are enough reds/blues/whites that we want to be identifiable on track. In fact, if we have 3 teams, we should three completely different color schemes.

Feel free to experiment with the liveries and take some pics or share the car up and we can decide what we want for the three teams.

At this point I'd treat Team USA as a single team with three "lineups" so let's make decisions as a unit. At the end of July/early August we'll make the official splits and then the "lineups" can fork off on their own for things like qualifying strategy, race strategy, etc. We won't have our breakouts final until that point due to people confirming/cancelling/adding, etc.

No, we do this all in lounges on our own like other races. You drive like normal, but your points count toward your team and all results are team based. How each team is organized beyond that is up to the team. They could use other voice chat systems or whatever they are capable of... no problem with that.

Are you joining us too Lefty? You are welcome on Team USA and we can work out the individual team assignment later.

I have some ideas... I'm considering starting a Team USA discussion and organization thread just for this so we have our own place to organize and discuss my ideas (and others' ideas) for team organization in there.

Online and live only -- it will all take place on August 10th, except the qualification which will be done by each driver/team before that date.

Although minimize trading paint so we don't have as much incident review work to do please.
