I was wondering if, when checking if SRF has (accidently) been used, Fetchy does that when accepting a submission or we can detect it ourselves when watching replays?

Fetchy does reject replays submissions that have SRF on.

Hey Guys,

As some of you may know I'm a member of team Avalerion for the support races in the GTPlanet endurance series. Since the support races got cancelled we got the opportunity to run a GT4 team with the endurance series. The team name is Hyperion. We are an driver development team. You could see it as the Torro Rosso's to the Red Bulls. So during the season the drivers of Avalerion (@PASM @skyline1683 @Animera @GTPGhost @Mini Stiggy @Friday_GTRP @xChris93_ ) will help us through the season. Since this is a driver development team we aren't looking for the fastest drivers out there but we are looking to give everyone a chance as long as drivers can prove the can drive intelligently, fair and clean. As of now we're looking for some good and motivated drivers!!! So what do you have to do to get a seat:

First of all check the promoter noticeboard thread. Read the regulations this is very important since they are quite extensive and very strictly lived by. Stay update by following this thread
Next check if you're available for the GT4 races and qually data.
last write me a PM if you wish to participate.

Since we don't know how big the response will be so we can't guarantee a seat. We'll take a look in how we Divide the available seats under the drivers interested once we know how many want to compete.

Cheers,

Kevin (Hyperion)

I'll tag a few people who I think maybe interested
@Meister Fetz @mr_lab_rat @RoeszaGT @roamer2629 @Don Mejillone @Tuesday_Black

:( best of luck Kevin and all who apply to Hyperion team.

Although i was interested, my odd work schedule doesn't allow me to send my application (working afternoon on race dates) :banghead:

Hi Kevin,

I would love to drive the endurance series.
But it's not possible because my work situation, I work evenings and in also at daytime and that changes every week.
The only time I never work is sunday night, because we are closed on sunday nights!

And I have bursitis (slijmbeursontsteking) in my arm / shoulder I drive always with pain :irked: but for one hour (more or less) i can do it.
Next april i will go again to the hospital and hope that they can fix it ! :)

So thankx for the message I would love to drive :gtpflag: but at the moment it's not possible.

Greatings Rudy.

hi Dutchy ,

what i enjoy most in GT6 is doing the timetrial , and occasionaly a race thats connected to the timetrial .

I enjoy driving when the time suits me , and when i am in the mood to drive .

When i commit myself to being a member of a team i am afraid i will HAVE to drive sometimes
because i cant let the team down , but i might not feel at all to drive that day .

So i like to continue my way , on a voluntary basis with no obligations .

Sorry if i let you down in any way because of this .

Your idea is great , and i am flattered to be tagged as a possible driver .

Good luck !

Richard

TAG Heuer Kimi.JPG

Hey Kimi is wearing a cheaper version of my watch. The Heuer Carrera was the first good motor racing watch that I ever saw....back in the 60's. Used to have a Rolex (3 of them...all failed in flight...so to speak). Heuer's cost less and work better. LOL

Silly thing would not let me put verbage into the post above. for those in the States....Silverstone is live on Sunday Morning. Starts live at 1200 Z or 0600 Central. Also F1$$$$ is on from China, and of more interest (better racing with the new aero packages) Indy Cars are on Sunday Afternoon Live from NOLA ( new track outside of New Orleans). No rest for the wicked.

Edit: you will note that I failed to mention Monza Blanc Pain because its on delay, and NASCAR because the silly baestaerds are always going around in circles.....which has become VERY dulling to the senses. Their races are GREAT in person...and mind numbing on the tube (or do we now say "on the screen").

Is there a complete driver list somewhere in this sub-forum?

Been a while since I wanted to see how many people have are involved in this.

Hi WRS land! I've got pcars on ps4 if anyone wants to add me as a friend!. Probably won't race online, but will be doing TTs and all the community challengey things against the clock and all that.

PSN is NoveltyHuman

So far all I've done is tinker with settings and drive half a lap, rinse/repeat

I lucked out on that one - my csr is 'compatible' - I say it like that because it needed a few config hacks! Seems to work ok, boy am I out of practice with racing tho.

How is it compared to GT6 Matt? I mean, I get all the graphics looks super shiny and all, but when I'm hot-lapping I could care a less about cloud texture and the glossiness of the raindrops. Went on the forum but couldn't find anyone whose opinion I trusted. So congrats, you're my guinea pig

I have it on PC, a laptop that barely meets min specs, all settings on low and am getting above 30 FPS even with full 30-50car grids and weather.

It's pretty dang awesome, although a few of us are still struggling to figure out the wheel settings.

I would say it's definitely worth the price of the game, but not sure it would have been worth buying a new system and/or new wheel for.

Feel free to add me on Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198084270515/

I started pCARS yesterday (pc version). Steam profile : jam_my21
I have limited account (can't add friend), but may be in future.

Hey Jon! Yeah it's a blast! It's short on content compared to gt6 - no friends leaderboards, only 60-80 cars, not that many options..... But, it's a big but too - it plays supreme, some cars are almost indistinguishable from reality, they've done a great job with physics

My bug bears so far are the lack of content, would love to see some fixed time trials in specific cars, some form of rewards for events, friends leaderboards, some more cars and car types... Don't like the karting it's dreadful with a wheel! Better on pad tho.

The worst thing is the default settings - they are atrocious and there is no guide whatsoever about what each of the many config options do, so I spent hours tinkering about and found something 'ok' - now I'm trawling forums and finding other people's efforts in doing the same thing and trying those !! Crazy stuff

Raw driving experience is awesome tho. Le Mans -the best Le Mans experience I've ever seen and the best in car experience and car sounds too. Thinking of it as a platform for more content over the years and I hope this proves correct.

Id recommend getting it and a ps4 :D

Perfect! Thanks Matt! Appreciate the detail, especially the "raw driving experience". I'll also need a wheel though as I don't believe it would support by G27. So just need to drop a bag on it and I'm good to go! Yeah...might have to wait a while, although I'd love to have a go in that RS500!

I have a question concerning grading:

How do you work out the handicaps? Like, what do you use? I know we run three TT's before having our handicap worked out but what do you use? All three gaps to the top time? Or is it off a different time? Is it percentages etc.? I'm really confused about how the grading/handicap works.
