Cheers.

throttlebodies needed! The 4AGE is a truely epic engine, hoping to buy a mk1 MR2 sonn and do an engine conversion to the 20V 4AGE and mmaybe either throttlebod or supercharge

I can't view Marcio's but those are some nice, clean vehicles guys. đź‘Ť

Nice rims, dude!

mine is a 450hp dodge D250 SE Prospector 371ci 3speed automatic weighs in at 5000 lbs and will do 16.5sec in the quarter mile

The 4A-GE blacktop is running quad throttle bodies as per standard spec. I have a set of 55mm ITB trumpets inside the plenum with a cold air intake setup for nice, cool intake temps :)

Here's a few of mine.
I like to call it the family truckster, handy for carting the kids and their gear around.

A couple of hours old travelled 60km's

One month old travelled 1000km's :ouch:. Wife waiting at lights minding her own business when two other cars collided and one of them bounced into her.

Today almost three years old, time to trade in for a new one I think.

I had the same thing in a hatch. Damn it was fun to drive. Pity the power figures werent correct when they released the car. I wouldnt bother trying to charge the engine though, the silvertop is a better candidate for that.

Not sure if i have posted my car in this thread so here it is.

2006 VW Polo GTI. 2.5 turbo back exhaust, fmic, induction, stage 2 tune and koni suspension. Its great fun.

didnt know the blacktop was on ITB's standard. Was the blacktop the 20V engine?

This is my 1996 Acura Integra LS. It's my first car and I've had it for a year now. And I just love driving it. :)

Been a while and several cars later but I'm back in a Mini.

Nothing special... Yet. :sly:
Have a mountain of goodies piling up ready for the weather to warm up before it gets attacked with the spanners one weekend, or two, or several knowing Minis.

Mostly braking and handling bits at the moment (not that the Mini needs any help in the handling department, mainly a refresher exercise) but will get to work shifting the HP numbers from double to triple digits once all thats done... Wont feel so bad about posting here then. :)

Darren.

There are two 20V engines, one is called "silvertop" and the other "blacktop". From what i remember the "silvertop" was more closely linked to the 16v 4age and 4agze. I recall that the "blacktop" couldn't handle the boost the "silvertop" could.

Nice car. Whats it do down the quarter mile.

Yes there are two 20 valve engines. The 16V 4A-GE engines have different head designs to the 20 valve engines so you can put them into two groups: 16V and 20V engines.

The silvertop engine used slightly thicker rods than the blacktop, very close to the 16 valve gen IV 'smallport' engines rods, plus it ran a slightly lower compression ratio (10.5:1) compared to the blacktop (11:1). Hence it can handle a little boost safer than a stock blacktop engine.

And yes the blacktop and silvertop engines both came in standard spec with separate quad intake throttlebodies (ITB's).

Yes there are two 20 valve engines.

Thanks for reminding me.đź‘Ť:dopey: You sound like I was 5-10 years ago. But when I started owning a car from a different manufacturer I started forgetting the detailed info. And I couldn't be bothered going back to my Toyota forums I used to frequent.

I like it in white đź‘Ť

Thanks Mate.
