You guys might want to take a look at the Italia, the Aston and the Gallardo. Nobody has picked those cars and they are pretty fast and consistent, good on tire wear too!

Also there's an announcement coming later tonight on car elegibility, so you might want to hold for that.

I might look at that, but I just realized that I always do my tunes on sports soft/racing hard, so the laps I'm thinking of might have been on those and not full slicks. I wonder nobody is picking the Aston Martin partly because of how poorly it performed at Sebring.

@Ruta, trust me. That Aston Martin is one solid and consistent car you want to look into it!

Oh right, a very good point. Just making a suggestion to possibly help you and improve our experience. Otherwise I agree with everyone very fun and promising first test race. Once the wrinkles get ironed out the races will be best defined by pure fun👍

I lapped the other McLaren and I believe another Vette, and it would be cool if we could try to slow each other down.
Or at least that's what they do IRL.

What do you mean? Add weight to the winners?
The cars are just fine the way they are. You finished near the top but in contrast the otyer car finished on the tail end. If we change anything on the cars there will be a clear dominant car, each car has its strenghts and weaknesses and that's the beauty of the series they all balance very nicely at the end.

That's really up to you guys. However holding up other guys can be interpreted as blocking and can be reason for penalties.

On here it could potentially cause problems just because you don't have a full 360* view of your surroundings like in reality, could cause un-necessary crashes... IMO

I don't think "holding up" is banned as long as it's not illegal blocking. When a faster car racing for position approaches me I will drive defensively to hold him off as long as I can and I expect anyone in front of me to do the same thing to me. I was "held up" during the race several times, it's normal as long as it doesn't turn into shameless blocking. Fortunately the slipstream in GT5 is so strong the faster car can always wait and safely pass on the straight. So the effect of any intentional "holding up" technique is pretty much limited to 1 lap or so.

That said I don't care for teams.

I think it'd be sweet to see some rivalries develop between teams. Like the lime green vipers vs orange ferraris for example, if your a viper and you see a Ferrari it doesn't matter who it is your gonna make damn sure you pass him if it's the last thing you do. it also adds a bit of personal emotion and motive if you ask me.

Don't get confused by what the comentators say and reality. One thing is to defend a position, and blocking/not giving way to cars lapping you/dirty tactics is a whole different thing. That sort of on track conduct will only get you a black flaged in real life. Trust me I know.
