You guys might want to take a look at the Italia, the Aston and the Gallardo. Nobody has picked those cars and they are pretty fast and consistent, good on tire wear too!
;-)
Also there's an announcement coming later tonight on car elegibility, so you might want to hold for that.
@Rich77, mics are turned disabled. They can be helpful but they can be very very distracting plus they take a lot of bandwidth and We want to presserve race quality as much as possible.
You guys care if I steal your pics and put them in an album on my facebook?
yeah no problem
Jav, do you think that we can strengthen up the team racing part of this?
I lapped the other McLaren and I believe another Vette, and it would be cool if we could try to slow each other down.
Or at least that's what they do IRL.
I like the idea of teammates. It adds comradery to the races plus strategy and setup sharing etc.
Just curious what are people's GT2 times for Laguna? I want to see how I hold up. Maybe we should keep a running "leaderboard" and edit this post. I guess I'll contribute first. I'll keep times for both classes.

sw_sephirothHe meant teammates working together to slow others down on the track. Not changing the cars lol. I don't think we should run teammates though. Not enough people IMO.

JavThat's really up to you guys. However holding up other guys can be interpreted as blocking and can be reason for penalties.
They do that IRL and it's legal, so why should we ban it?
I don't think "holding up" is banned as long as it's not illegal blocking. When a faster car racing for position approaches me I will drive defensively to hold him off as long as I can and I expect anyone in front of me to do the same thing to me. I was "held up" during the race several times, it's normal as long as it doesn't turn into shameless blocking. Fortunately the slipstream in GT5 is so strong the faster car can always wait and safely pass on the straight. So the effect of any intentional "holding up" technique is pretty much limited to 1 lap or so.They do that IRL and it's legal, so why should we ban it?

All blocking thoughts aside, don't you guys think it'd be cool to have like team championships, with like manufacturers championships etc? I think it'd be sweet to see some rivalries develop between teams. Like the lime green vipers vs orange ferraris for example, if your a viper and you see a Ferrari it doesn't matter who it is your gonna make damn sure you pass him if it's the last thing you do. it also adds a bit of personal emotion and motive if you ask me.
