I was hoping, lol. My mistakes ruined my chance. Now we're going to Monaco, my worse track.. Should really make things interesting in gt2 championship.luckylefty2gunzi thought Tissimo was running away with the championship never thought that i could catch him. it's a shootout to the championship now, with that R8 closing in we are in for a wild finish. good luck guys

Ahh, the sweet serenity of the streets of Monaco. Easily my favorite track, i'm great at that track, and I just love it to death. Grid position is majorly important, so if I succeed in my aim to take pole here, I may jsut be able to take home gold, as passing is very hard here, and with GT2 traffic, that will make it all even harder. If they do as good a job as they did at Monza in staying out of the way, us GT1 guys will be fine.

i see GT1 getting frustrated from not being able to pass for long periods at a time that there will be contact between multiple gt1 and gt2 cars so be patient with us as we try to get out of your way while fighting for a championship. we are not as lucky as that one guy (atlas) in GT1 to have damn near locked up a title with three races to go. great job atlas

Thanks but I'm afraid it ain't over till it's over. Lots of points still to be had and my track record at Monaco is appalling.

Yes I did, but until I passed Supra in to the lesmos, I wasn't expecting to win. I had to ease off the throttle a bit in the final 5 laps to be sure I wouldn't run out of fuel, so having assessed the situation, I figured second against what I thought was a no score for Tiss would be a good result! I would love to have raxed my usual race, but getting swamped at the start and then having to run wide in to the second Lesmo trying to avoid Supra/jav meant my first lap was one to forget. Good battles all round though! Btw lucky, I enjoyed our brief skirmish for a few laps mid race!

It should be quite interesting driving around the streets of monaco as I have never done so in the corvette race car.

i have to say that monza was my worst race in a long time i made so many mistakes i felt like a straight noob, i made enough mistakes to have me running in last until lap 30 something then i remembered how to drive and my car came to life from that point forward 1:41's were the pace and again thanx to posiloan for towing me around i was making up so much time GT1 cars had troubles catching me from behind i saw atlas chasing behind me for over a lap before he got close enough to make a pass i think magzire (BMW) was behind me for 2-3 laps before getting close enough for me to let him pass if i had a few more laps i could have run you down i think as for our little battle during the pit cycle my tires were toast and i was doing everything i could to keep it on track and trying to not wreck you in the process of wrecking myself. i don't know how but i keep salvaging points from out of thin air it seems, having the points lead without a victory YET has my confidence high with my best tracks to come.

Pretty sure I'm still in the lead, unless my math is horribly off. Still have the lead by 7 points (i got 4th, 10pts, you got 2nd, 14 + 1 for fastest lap, only taking 5pts out of my 12 point lead)

After close evaluation of the incidents presented to the GTPFIA the following has been concluded.
-JP-GM/Peter abuse of track limits, after reviweing the replay multiple cuts of the 1st and 2nd chicane were observed resulting in exclusion from the race results.
-Contact between car #42 Magzire and car #91 Shrugging_Atlas on lap 27, incident was determined to be a racing incident and no penalty will result from it.
-Car #42 Magzire abuse of track limits, after close analisis of the replay it was observed to be slightly over the track limits in 4 ocasions, no penalty is in order. However for the on track incidents a 1 race probation is in order.
-Contact between car #2 JP-GM, car #91 Shrugging_Atlas and car #51 OwensRacing on lap #5, after close analisis of the replay it has been determined to be a racing incident and no penalty is in order.
The official race results will be posted later tonight.

Atlas little bit surprised that you'd filed that and to watch every lap i done.
Seen that video on your youtube account. Obviously to show Jav. Seems you went out of your way to do this. But to be fair if 2nd place and league in the bag isn't good enough for you. Then take the 1st place and i'll take the 4 x 50 seconds time penalty. This is what you wanted so no issue for me.

I normally don't discuss these things publicly but since you started:
#1 You think too much of yourself if you think I watched only your laps. I watched everyone's laps because Monza is the dumbest track in GT5 as it allows huge time gains via cheating in the chicanes. Clearly there was one driver whose driving was far dirtier than everyone else's and it wasn't you. I included everyone's stats in the report for comparison and yes you had at least four T7 cuts where you gained time. The other offender had at least 27 chicane cuts some of which were far worse than yours. Just stating facts. Judging was done by Jav.
#2 You hit my car from behind giving me rear-end damage. I lost a lot of time struggling to keep a 600HP RWD car on track with a busted rear wheel. Because of you. Of course I reported it. I always have and always will report anyone who hits me from behind, gives me damage and benefits from it. In the other league I race in this is considered the worst offense and carries an automatic 25 second penalty.

Imo, its a minor error on braking distance judgment. If it happened more then once or cause your car to go out of control then I would bring it up. Yes getting damage from it sucks, but nothing more then a minor mistake. At least thats how I see it.
In hind sight Magzire shouldn't of tried to avoid, but hind sight is 20/20, and I'm sure he would of tried to now knowing the outcome of the incident.

Not making excuses here but i got a worst knock off hons kinda similar to that but gave front right wheel damage. Penalizing wasn't something i would of opted for. And i stated before car came unstable. This is were the mistakes happened. I busted jpzer last season on this track so last thing i do is purposely cut.
