Yes sir we are! In the event of a resserve driver having to step in we may allow the extra car.

Jav. After much testing I'd be a fool not use the Viper again.

I love the Ford GT a lot. It's just the low power really kills that car. I know it makes it up in the turns. However I am a slow in fast out guy. This style needs the get up and go the Viper provides.

Going from the list of cars and power allowed. I am going to have to bring the Venomous Snake to the races.

If by chance there is a shuffle on power between Viper or Ford GT. I would reconsider. Cars are really really close though. Ford may be a car I regret dropping. But I do know the Viper well and it just works so well for me.

What a tough call. Everything outside speed says Ford GT. Looks, change wheels, sound, Ford mod motor. Carbon Fiber Body. Mmmm so sexy.


Any thoughts on PP and HP limits? Keep the buffers off these cars? I know the Viper and Ford can gain substantial amount of TQ with adding blower. Which also raises the PP.

Some serious speed has just arrived in GT1! :nervous:

Good to have you aboard RT. I was having a hard time choosing which series to race in between your FMSC and this one. Now that the FMSC is postponed I can enjoy both when the time is right.

Won't really know until testing. I hesitated to sign up because I don't like racing in series with unlimited tire options, but there's not really anything else to do on Sundays. :indiff:

We dicussed transitioning to hard tires going to mediums first and then eventually going to hards on season 3, but after some testing the best option for the group was to stay on softs.
 
I think the mediums we run in the Super Taikyu series are plenty. I don't know, cars that are too grippy just feel "numb" to me. But, it's your series. 👍
 
Racing softs on road cars seems to make them understeer.
With the F430 and RUF RGT in particular.

Edit: When I put the stage 2 turbo on the car, it puts the power level at 642, which is 2hp over the limit. Seeing as the car can't go any lighter than 1080kg, is that 2hp ok?

Use power limiter as necessary. Add ballast. Specs are on page 1. 640/1150.
