Haha! Well at the time I was very depressed and I just couldn't be bothered anymore with the whole avoidance of it. I had a friend's Christmas Karaoke last night anyway, so there was no point even trying to survive one of those in one, George Michael-free piece. It played four times, so it's like shooting yourself in the head while you're recieving friendly fire.

I went for Feeder's cover of Power Of Love, so I didn't dig my own grave by then singing to Wham... There are only so many humiliations I can take

May I steal that eulogy?

The original (the one in the OP) is this. Yet the one GT-R used was this one. There are subtle differences like the intro. You'll have to watch both of them.

I've been Whammed! I walk out of Social Studies, and straight in front of the Geometry classroom. We wait for the teacher to allow us in, and so I socialize with my friends, until I hear the accursed lyrics blasting in my ears with a friend of mine looking smug behind me with his iPod in hand. He plays it again twice the following day. Whammed! three times in one day! Damn! Damn damn damn!

Breaking news: the war against the Wham! Empire just registered another casualty.
Yep, yours faithfully has been Whammed! a few minutes ago.
It was a very painful moment, because:
1) it happened at home, and
2) the attack came through my beloved PS3!
To make it short, Mum finds a Christmas CD I had carefully hidden, decides to play it and catches me the only time I took off my headphones...
