Johnkiller ahead after turn 1, but maxking makes a good draft overtake on the back straight and gets a good lead. johnkiller slowly reels him in and overtakes on lap 4, where maxking also loses the left wheels in the gravel entering the back straight, and though putting up a fight it is more than he can regain.

Race 2
maxking on pole and takes the lead. johnkiller close behind. Now on lap 4, still on maxking's bumper, but just cant gain enough to make a draft overtake. Very close!
Lap 5: johnkiller finally manages the draft overtake on the straight! But maxking is not lost! Will he pull an overtake on the back straight? YES!
Last lap. Side by side in turn 1, 2 3 and 4. But maxking defends.
Final straight. johnkiller spins on exit!!

Race 3
johnkiller takes lead from pole. But takes a beach trip after last turn! This is a lot of gap to reel in! Down to 2 secs after lap 3. But lap times differ by tenths, there is not enough laps.
Lap 5: 1.9 secs. And johnkiller wears his tyres more.
Final lap. 1.7s. Maxking takes it home!!

Great racing from both guys!

Could you also set a slightly higher room limit? It is not like people keep invading the rooms anyway and I have had two times now where I blocked someone else (would rather have let Biffy in to handle stuff).

Now that I can see the stars aligning; I realize the time we set for the finals might clash with FMSC... or possibly even the FIA GTE Endurance race hosted by Aderrrm... seems like we'll just be able to squeeze in between, Sunday's kind of out of the question too because of the WRS Enduro.

Possibly go even earlier GMT? Like 14 or 15? Depending on if it's all European drivers (whether Aliens and/or max make it through.

Had some good practice. This is shaping out to be one of my favourite tracks, though much better in a car which doesn't understeer quite as much (pretty rough on the fronts in the corners after corkscrew).

Just had a practice session with Aliens. We beat each other's pb's several times. All of them within the same tenth, 1:24.2's.

Three practice races so close. Consistency is going to decide this.

Race 1 is starting now... Aliens on pole!

He maintains the lead through the first corner, although Cicua is pushing really hard. Great speed; he's pulling away a little bit.

Already 1.5 seconds between the two of them, with Aliens in front. Cicua seems to be reacting a bit though!

Two laps to go, distance reduced to 1.2. Aliens made a mistake, it cost him 2 more tenths.

Last lap! Pay attention to Cicua, for he is faster now! 9 tenths between the two, now.

Cicua was really close, but went wide at the entrance of the corkscrew. Race 1 for Aliens, 1.2 ahead of Cicua.

Race 2 starting, with Cicua on the pole now... And Cicua maintains the lead through the first corner! But Aliens is pushing very hard through the first lap!

They both drive side to side as Aliens overtakes Cicua, and the latter goes off the track. What a shame!! Race is still on, though.

Cicua drove a great lap and was looking way faster than Aliens, but made a small mistake and lost some more time. Aliens increases his advantage a little bit.

In the end, the distance is maintained, which shows both drivers had basically the same pace. It's race 2 for Aliens.

So result 2-0, Aliens makes it to semifinals.

I think we were more even yesterday, did not have the pace today. All I could hope for in race 2 was that Aliens would make a mistake to even it out, but he made all his mistakes in practice
