Well in a fantasmical display of mis-communication. It seems the GTP news page was wrong and maintenance is going on, at least today the 8th, as originally schedules. How do we know this? Well 'cause none of us can currently connect to GT Online due to "server maintenance"

I guess every one really sort of stuffed this one up... re-igniting discussion with the admins... bleh.

Ok. Regarding the psn outage.

We will keep an eye on how things evolve from here. If it's confirmed that we can race as usual, we'll do that. Only thing we need to adjust a tad is the quali deadline. Perhaps just push it 6 hours.

The best tip I can give you guys now, is to proceed as usual with qualis and such. The future will show if we can race tomorrow.

Deadline is hereby EXTENDED to 19.00 PM (GMT) (30 minutes prior Connect time).

On the news page the date of the maintenence was changed from 9 to 8, so I think we're safe.
It was a mistake from who did the news piece.
Extended Qualy until 18 PM GMT sounds good to me.

Well, seeing as it looks like we're going ahead with this race tomorrow, despite setting a qualifying time I am going to drop out this week. There are a few reasons for this. The main one is because some of my closest friends, who are in a band and play great music, are playing a gig tomorrow night locally, their 3rd ever, so I am heading along to watch it and cheer 'em on, as I missed the last one. Second one is that I am miffed off at how my qualifying turned out. Ended up having to rush it with only 15 mins of practice, because I haven't had any other time thanks to these planned maintenances, and whenever there hasn't been any downtime, I've been working. The extended deadline is no help either, because I've already qualified, and I would of been able to make it home just before the deadline. So I've ended up suffering in terms of quali time because I foresaw no other time to qualify. I feel cheated in a way. Please, in the future, when some kind of maintenance is scheduled to interfere somewhere during our race week, make a contingency ASAP.

I think that despite the planned maintenances there has been an acceptable amount of time for people to qualify especially with the deadline extension, unfortunately it hasn't worked out for you quite as you would've liked it to this time but you're not the only one.

Sounds like you had a busy week anyway and to expect races to be postponed because some planned maintenance is scheduled for a relatively small amount of the available qualifying time is a bit unrealistic. Often people don't have the opportunity to qualify at all and have to start from the waiting list in D2 and get on with it. You had the opportunity to qualify and are currently sitting 8 tenths off the pole which should be good enough for D1, not only that you've decided to do something else anyway, I'm struggling to see your point at the moment.

Don't know if you've noticed, but quali deadline is moved to 19.00 PM (GMT), 30 minutes prior connect time because of the insecurity regarding the planned outage.
If we can't race tomorrow cause of the outage, the race will be moved 1 week. And the later 1 week gap will therefore be closed to stay on schedule as a whole. 👍

Yea. I need to make a lame attempt. I had planned on not racing tomorrow and it was said qualifying will be pushed out 48 hrs. So I went to dinner and stayed out. Even made plans for tomorrow evening. Uggggh why oh why. Please guys if you cancel a race. Stick with it.

So anyway please open one up or I will here asap. Haven't even moved the cockpit into place.

We did however change our statement pretty fast. Guess you had a tad of unlucky timing..
