Went to see my Lexus in the garage (Haven't touch it since last race), and the damn car was 10 HP low on power after the race. Anybody else saw the same with their car.

Usually the power drop only happens if your oil wasn't 100% clean before the race started. If it was slightly old, it might start to dirty up over the course of the race - I always change oil of the car before I enter the lobby, even if the car is at full horsepower.

I usually do it too. And I did it this time.
Maybe beacause it was a longer race. But 10 HP seems like a lot.

EDIT: Also room Closed: 1472-6681-3115-0600-7917 Might open one later

Time for an engine rebuild?

Pre race prep. Biggest thing for me is stretching throughly before sitting down at the wheel. I do the red bull during race. Sipping on it during long straights or pit stops. As well the race is about 1.5-2 hours after I eat lunch.

Wow, what a lap by Tony. I could get into 21.1 but very unlikely. Im happy with my 21.4 and maybe I can shave off a tenth. More than that, no.

Will be wanting to prac if not quali atleast tonight but after 9:30. Got my first driving lesson so hopefully I wont run anyone down.

I'll open up a room after Barca-Milan in CL.
Around 21.00-21.30 PM (GMT).

If there's any stewards available right now to help me with reviewing a decision on the D2 race, please PM me.

Porto-Shaktar??

Thought Euro league games was scheduled for Thursdays.. ;)

Champions League this, Europa League that. The big game you all should have been watching tonight was Crystal Palace vs Wigan in the Carling Cup, 2-1 winners, Ithankyou.

I've opened a practice/quali room for about an hour.

Room #: 1472-4710-9909-6399-8878 - Room handed over to chorda

Was about to update the OP but saw that someone (Wardez i assume) already updated the page (Picture headline). I have the Power Rankings coming soon. Also, introduction of the License Ranking and Safety Rating system (updated up to round 6).

I just took the liberty of updating the main part of the OP splash page to give Masi a headstart 👍

Check this out guys, practice from today:

License Class System and Safety Rating
LicensePromotionEligibility-1.png

A Driver must maintain a 4.00 Safety Rating for at least 3 races to be eligible for promotion.
Promotions will be done through Stewards deliberation. Stewards eligible for promotion will be excluded for deliberation.

Rookies: Once you have finished 4 races and maintained a 2.0 Safety Rating or higher, you're automatically promoted to class D.

The Default Safety Rating is 2.50 if you are a newcomer. Lowest Rating is 0.01 and highest is 5.00

If you are clean (consistently) and gather enough experience, you can achieve Class A easily. Still, you can race your way up faster by performing better (ie. winning races). Being 'aware' who is fast is not enough, imho. Having something to label
drivers would be a great way to constantly remind us (veterans), and specially the new guys, on who they are dealing with. This goes in tandem with the 'character' of a driver that builds up within our collective memories as we race along each other.

Having a higher class does not mean you're out classed or out talented, persae, but its more based on experience and consistency (racing conduct). This can also serve as a motivational tool for drivers (another form of incentive) in a way that
they'll keep in tabs of everything they do on track. It is just a fact sheet - a trivial fact if you will - and you don't have to do anything to 'submit' yourself into the system. There are no requirements/qualifying for a license. It is an automatic once you have sign-up in WSGTC or any sister series'

Lastly, licenses also have a future use in the long term which will not be disclosed as of this moment.

Cant believe I tried to pass you, Wardez, on the Corkscrew on 1st lap. Good braking and I could have squeezed in but was afraid the car would spin.

Awesome video.. Too bad I touched sand on every corner exit though.. :lol:
Was great fun though..

Btw: Masi, I defenetly think that we should plow thru the season 1 results, and include the statistics from it in to the driver class thing you just presented to us.
I can help you out. Just tell me what you need to know, and I'll dig it out for you. 👍

Well, if you insist :)

By the way, i included 'Race Starts from Season 1' up to now. I just need the Safety Rating points (from the current drivers now only of course). I calculated JPzer's License and SR hoping that he'll join in Season 3.

Here's my calculations (Safety Rating started from 2.50 - Licenses were automatically upgraded from Rookie to D after 4 race starts that included season 1 as i mentioned):

Just to note for an easier calculation.

A usual race finish on the lead lap without incident reports will be 15 points (outside the podium).

i guess ill just quote this:

I'm not sure I follow everything.. So if a driver is reported, he'll get a sefety rating penalty even if he was not judged quilty by the stewards?

Each offense (penalty) has an equal safety rating deduction (as seen above).

So let's say i finished outside the podium on the lead lap.

lead lap = 5 points
finished = 5 points
no reports/penalties = 5 points

total SR for the race = 15

If i had an incident - avoidable damage (-25 points) for example, here's what i get:

lead lap = 5 points
finished = 5 points
reports/penalties = -25 points

total SR for the race = -15

Come to think of it, i think my calculations are wrong since i did this:

lead lap = 5 points
finished = 5 points
no reports/penalties = 5
penalty = -25 points

total SR for the race = -10 :crazy::ill::yuck:
