Pretty amazing me and Wardez can go through Loews and Portier side-by-side the whole way without touching, and 2-3 other guys couldn't come within a quarter mile without making some form of contact, or crashing in front of me....twice...

Loved the dive on the start though, and probably a jump off the start to there, (same guy) very classy. 👍

I'm not even going to begin trying to "report" all of it, just the entire time I was out there until I pitted on lap 4 due to idiocy and immaturity.

Sorry to say this guys, but I'm quitting the series. This isn't a decision made on impulse. I just realized over the past few days that I can't dedicate so much, for so little in return.

This wasn't made on impulse because I was going to use this race as a decision maker as to whether I should stay or not, and I'm not. It's just not worth it.

Sorry again guys, I'll see you around. And if you'd like for me to go in detail, feel free to PM me.

You don't enjoy demolition derby's?
I saw when left, was it a dc or a decision like mine?

WHOA WHOA WHOA Demolition Derby? Wardez leaving?! What the hell happened today guys?! Man, I should have just canceled my Soccer game time and raced so there would be no problems. I have an angel special power, I keep races clean. :D
On a serious note, what happened guys? Was it new drivers or the regular ones?

I cant comment about certain drivers as I havent had battles with everyone here. However, those I had battles with(Wardez, Pag, Remy, Chorda, Reevos) I have no complaints. Specially from Wardez, going side by side on Corkscrew on Laguna is just pretty amazing. Sad to hear about what happened guys.

Five laps left....And the power went out. Man...what a gip. Ah well...My race was...alright-ish. There wasn't a lap I wasn't without damage either from trying to avoid lead lap cars or bad turn ins. Got to the point I would just damage the opposite side to cancel out the steering issue.

I was having a good clean run with Pinoy for quite awhile. My exit turn speed wasn't enough to pass him, but I continued to gain on him through the straights. It was a lot of fun until I accidentally came in too hard and tried to let off coming out of the downhill. Coming out of the turn I gave a small nudge and couldn't believe I let that happen.

Coming back to the finish he pulled into the pits and continued on for another lap before pitting myself and sure enough, Pinoy passed me just as I exited and I was looking forward to part two of our battle...Unfortunately I got carried away and understeered into the wall which gave me engine damage. I pitted, got it fixed and was slowly running Pinoy back down by lap 49 I could see him just a little ahead of me and than...I hit the chicane wrong and totaled the engine again. Shortly after I left the pit....power went out. Ugh, oh well.

I hope your not leaving because of my recklessness :(, Goodbye :(

Those are all excellent drivers. 👍
As I mentioned, me and Wardez were able to go side-by-side through what is possibly the tightest section of road in GT5 (mid-track at Monaco, slow section) and we didn't even touch - not a bump.

Nobody new in GT500 raced I don't think.
Despite urges, I'll leave names out for the sake of professionalism not earned by those not being mentioned.

I swear to God, on my mother's grave, I can find cleaner racing in random lobbies.

****ING PATHETIC GUYS

IT'S ACTUALLY NOT A 3 LAP DEMOLITION DERBY/RACE. 💡:dunce:

If I race again, bet your asses I'm taking reckless dives and driving like a god damn imbecile right back to whoever does it to me.

Woah.

Me wants gt500 replay. Sad to hear it wasn't very pleasant. :guilty:👎

But about the gt300 race, was pretty good. No drama (I don't think) but 2 people disconnected. Twistedfirework very early on and MH4Wheel on lap 51. Litchi was stuck (?) in the pits for the last half of the race.

Bit of a mess, that one. Not sure what happend up ahead but came around toward the end of one of the early laps and it was a huge pileup.. NO where to go.. Got the unlucky pits there, took forever. Came out second from last.

Made good progress throughout the rest of the race. Got into a decent rhythm(as much as possible with the NSX here.) At lap 36 I had one more lap before I planned on pitting... When from behind I get absolutely t-boned by TS, forcing me to pit early.. Worst of all, he didn't let me by, so my car had to wait for his going into the pits. Insult to injury. On top of all that, I was at least a lap ahead of him when this occurred. I am dumbfounded.

I got back on track.. Biffy started catching me as my tires warmed up. Biffy and I had some good battles for several laps. I had let Remy(the leader) of the race by before Biffy caught me... I think Remy must have been toward the end of his tires becaue Biffy and I reeled him in. Going into the chicane I must have got a bigger run with the draft then I thought. Biffy and I were running faster than Remy at this point, but I didn't want to screw the leader up. I think the combination of my run, and his aging tires, I ended up side by side with him at entry of chicane... Bad spot for both of us.. I actually ended up braking in time, as I meant to brake early to give him room. I started to enter the corner on the inside, when he and I must have made contact.. Unfortunately this pinned me to the inside wall, and poor Biffy had no where to go.

Biffy and I ended up with significant damage.. Both of us pitted. Biffy is such a gentleman that he let me by on pit exit.👍 I tried to let him back by at the end of the lap, because I didn't think there was any reason for him to have let me by.. He would have none of it and just waited until I finally went. He even apologized to me post race.

I have met some very considerate and fast drivers in this series. Unfortunately, I have also come across some that are way more aggressive than necessary.

I am down to keep running in this series. It would be very unfortunate to lose Wardez, as he is one of the cleanest, fastest drivers around. I appreciate his ability to run fast while also being respectful of others races around him. I agree with some of the comments earlier made about people needing to realize these are long races.

I am watching the replay now.. Remy, I am not sure if it was my fault, your fault, or just a racing incident. If it was mine, I apologize. If it was yours, no worries. If it was just a racing incident.. than it is what it is. Any way it turns out, I hope it didn't effect your chance at a race win.

Would hope there can be some better posts once you guys have slept on it etc. - there are bad races every once in a while and Monaco is a circuit prone to that.

Gt300 race was good I think, don't think we had many/any complaints 👍 Only problem for me was that traffic was sometimes difficult to clear, but its Monaco, it happens. Most of the time people were very courteous anyway, thanks! Oh, there was the small issue of immense tyre wear too :D Congrats to Adam on the win 👍

Very sorry about that I think you went a bit too deep 2nd to last corner then I must of clipped your rear bumper by accident sorry about that did it cost a place I'm sorry if it did?

Woah.

You can't be serious :scared:
It was worse than Monza, without the "excuse" of slipstream.

Would hope there can be some better posts once you guys have slept on it etc. - there are bad races every once in a while and Monaco is a circuit prone to that.

I am not kidding about online lobbies, some (quite a few) drivers in this series are excellent, and a couple few keep having "issues" with not crashing people, or trying to jump the start, (when a slower car somehow gets the inside in Turn 1 from behind) or diving inside in corners leaving the driver in front nowhere to go but the car or outside wall.

Quite frankly it's come to this for me, either damage has to go limited, or drivers have to go, (maybe just me) penalties just don't cut it. Adding 200 seconds to driver "x's" time doesn't put me up the 90 seconds I lost, or vice versa.

It's just ridiculous to me that no matter how many races go by, half the field (or seemingly) still feels a need to bum rush the start, consequences be damned, and I don't think anyone can really disagree, not even the drivers that do it.

i had a funish race a bit lonley at times but i just kept my head down only made 1 mistake but it did cause damage only from lap27-35 so wasnt too bad i could almost drive round it then i caught a wiff of skanny in the last 5-8 laps and was in hot pursuit, at this point i was lapped but keeping up with aderrrm (who was cruising) who let me by on the 3rd last lap, he said to let me have a clear road to try catch skanny but unfortunatly much like Nurburg GP my last lap chance at passing him wasnt good enough and i ended .5 behind (1 more lap :sly:).

in short not the most exciting race in the world but was enjoyable.

also very sad to hear that the GT500 race went down the toilet :(

I think some people (mostly the european drivers, from what I've noticed) have that mentality that this is an F1 race, where the only way to pass is to divebomb a guy. Some people have even admitted to this in this thread.
