Indefinitely means "until further notice" and can be synonymous with "forever".

Shame to see this type of thing have to happen at all though.

Daytona is not until next week, this week is an off week so no official race.

Being on probation means that when you return after serving your initial suspension (whether it's for one race or for the rest of the season) you will more or less be on a 'last chance' for the length of the probation period as defined in Masi's post. Any wrong doing that is seen as not being accidental during the probation period will result in an instant indefinite ban.

Reflection (to everyone)

How has your Season 2 turned out so far?

Any comments about WSGTC as a whole (about the drivers, stewards, etc.)?

The same as nepalii its been a great series for me and it has challenged me and made me much faster :D

Ive also had some really great battles with Skanny and a few others ofc. but nothing matches the fight me and skanny had at the Nurb GP D2 race :D

its a perfect series imo and you guys have done a great job with its organising 👍

My bad luck and any incidents aside, I've already enjoyed time spent and very much look forward to season 3, where I can start with some experience under my belt, and aim for a decent season standing. 👍

Unfortunate that actions had to be taken against any driver, but actions taken sets a higher standard for the series, the stewards do their best to provide the best racing experience for the most people possible, and it shows.

Hopefully everything pans out with those coming back and we can all enjoy racing together in the future.

Been a good season so far. Some exiting racing at times.
I highlight 2 races. My lowest performance at Indy (even if I did a D2 race at La Sarthe) followed by a great turnover in Suzuka with my first of many to come wins in WSGTC. ;)

A downside for me is the behaveaur of some GT 500 when lapping GT 300 cars.

I am having a much better time than I was last season, however the mistakes when battling need to be ironed out and strategy can be improved, but I have been more competitive this year even though the ballast has really hindered the NSX in the last few races. Might chose differently next year though

Crap. Haven't been in D1 all season and I think I've actually missed half the races. Blaming the Supra.

Hopefully I can relive my race in season 1 for Nurb 24h..

But this season for stewards, have been outstanding. Heck, season 1 was top notch too. As for drivers, I haven't had the best experience's in the races I have participated in.. Race ruined at Fuji, Nurb GP/F and Suzuka, and it does seem to be the new guys who are doing this to me.

Been great fun so far! Had the pace every race but either my strategy hasn't been optimal or my internet plain hates me. I've also made far too many of my own mistakes in races - in season 1 I never took damage all season. At the last race I hit the wall twice, big difference! Having to push a lot harder for more of the race this season I think.

Had some fantastic battles with Adam and Kamy so far, long may it continue 👍

On meeting my expectation (i.e. to improve my driving skill), i would say 9/10. The atmosphere is friendly and accomodating, thanks to the administrators and the stewards. The drivers are generally kind and respectful of each other. 👍👍👍

Great to read the replies!

Me: Came back after my long hiatus. Bought a wheel again just in time for Round 3. Unfortunately, i've got too much distractions as school
started that week. My bathroom also caught fire at Lap 2 during the la Sarthe race :D thankfully, the whole place didn't burn down.

Seems like GT300 has been pretty respectable as a whole. The slower speeds certainly helps. Would've been nice to see the other regulars
from Season 1, but i guess they got other priorities. It's a forgettable season for me, but i did have fun for the 2 races i finished so far. I can
still remember Moleman and I going 1 and 2 every week with the Lexus (Preseason Season 1) - now he's just out of reach. Certainly a certified
alien now - although i gotta say that the Lexus is the weakest this season :sly: (excuse) - should do a bit more equalizing this off-season :D
I would love to drive it again in favor of the other cars.

GT500 meanwhile has seen a ton of close racing (atleast as far as i can tell). Although without its share of controversy. I hate to see guys go,
but i've always said that it's a democracy around here - the majority decides who's in and who's out. Other than that, the standings look pretty
close if you take out 3 dropped races 👍

I can't wait for season 3 already. Hope to see all of you guys back! 👍

About the season.

GT500:s:
The competition, and the level of a lot of drivers is really high standard.
It does seem like the core from season 1 are the ones in the top. Ofc, with Remy_K (who was signed up for season 1 but did not participate) added to that group.
Then we have some really interesting new entries during the season, that hopefully stay, and make the core group even bigger for next season. I'm thinking of drivers such as:
NEPALII
RedReevos
GTP_CSL
RageSim

Sadly, we lost Wardez and JPzer along the way.

GT300's:
Even though Aderrrm and moleman are in a league of their own, I must say that the level of the GT300 field has grown from season 1 to season 2.
I can see clear improvements from Shrugging_Atlas, Kamy_Kaze1098, GTP_Pinoy2 to name few.
But, when looking at the quali results, I must say that I'm surprised when Aderrrm and mole are 2-3 seconds faster each time. Cause in the race, the difference is not that big when comparing each drivers bests laps.
Ok, when looking at the GT500 field, pretty much all drivers are within a second from eachother fastest lap-time-wise, so that's an even group to say the least.
But, what I was getting to was that if the GT300 field could stay more concistant, the pressure put on Aderrrrm and moleman would increase.
And the pace is there, I can tell. It's jst a matter of consistancy IMO.

Participation has been good in general all over the season. I'm super happy with the GT500 participation. I'm also happy with the GT300 participation. But some races the number of drivers seem a bit to low.
It's also a matter of communication. It's been really hard for us admins to know what to expect from each round.
THAT's why we are gong to implement a mandatory roll-call for next season. If absence is not stated, that driver is out instantly.

But as whole, the season 2 has been great so far. And I'm really looking forward to the "final 4" shoot out. Even if I don't make it, I will sure be in the room watching.

I expect some epic racing in there.

Final 4 shoot out is not yet decided to 100 %.
It will be a 1 vs 1 layout. But circuits to be used are not final. Not the exact layout as well.
But don't wory, it will be posted before round 11. 👍

While it is true that Aderrrm and Moleman are head and shoulders above the rest of the GT300 field there have been moments where other drivers challenged them.

The main reason for races being closer is the enormous ballast they have accumulated. That said, I was able run with them in a couple of races (LeMans, Suzuka) for many laps and on those tracks they were still carrying only a relatively modest amount of ballast. But I have to say it is really hard keeping up with them and not crashing :) Kamy and Litchi are very fast, too, and if they had participated in more races I suspect they could've mixed up the results sheets more.

I bought a DFGT. Used to have both the G27 and the DFGT at my disposal but sold those as it was rotting in my closet.

Might pick up the new fanatec base + clubsport pedals + clubsport f1 wheel (or GT) if i get enough funding (i'm taking donations :sly:).

Hm...My season has been a small roller coaster.

I was feeling pretty high until Le Mans and I ruined my day and another's (still sorry.). I tried to bounce back the next week and bad luck struck again. As we went into the two week break, I, like others had gotten the weeks mixed up and I never found the time to make up that week. After the break it took me awhile to get back in the swing of things and I wasted my three dropped races on tracks I rather enjoy running. After that, I return to the track at Laguna Seca and after a quick bad start I immediately work back into contention until an accident threw me off. Then came Monaco which in itself was a roller coaster of emotions.

I'm really enjoying this league overall and I'm looking to finishing it out on a high note. I was hoping the whole team aesthetic would work out a little better. One unable to run this season and the other rather reserved. The concept is fun. It's fine as it's own, but I feel I should have made more attempts to get my teammate/s together and run a practice between each other.

You're talking about Forza Motorsport CSR Elite? I like that also, but the last time i checked it's not yet available. The sad thing for me is, all fanatec products are only sold in America and Europe. :(
But I emailed fanatec already if they can accept orders internationally. :)

No, i think Fanatec is still working on another GT wheel? Not really sure yet.. if not, would love to have that F1 wheel. :D

I'm sure they can work something out. Money talks :sly:

I know about DFGT, that's logitech. I'm not a fan of it though due to the absence of clutch pedal. That new fanatec base you're talking about (the youtube clip you posted previously in this forum) i presume is the new Forza Motorsport CSR Elite by fanatec. It's not yet available, but I'm already inquiring if they can deliver in the Philippines. :)

Porsche 911 GT3 RS Wheel by fanatec (this one i like) has basically same features with CSR elite except for the latter's detachable/replaceable wheel rim.

Thrustmasters new F1 wheel is out! It's sick. T500 RS is incredible. Imagine that new Ferrari F1 wheel is pretty slick. Looks it.

Buddy has the Orange Fanatec wheel. Good unit. However he has used the T500 and says it's definitely a better wheel. Faster, stronger, feels very realistic. His words. Loves his CSP pedals though. Noticed the precision the T500's have on ps3 over CSP too. Just likes his load cell brake. Hahaha.

No Doc, im referring to the GT (Grand Touring) wheel (quick release) that fanatec is planning to release alongside the F1 wheel (not sure theres any details yet with it). And im pretty sure he mentioned that the base is multi-platform as well. I'm waiting for the GT wheel since its better suited for, well, GT racing (Touring cars). I can't imagine drifting with the F1 wheel :D if i got the money, id get both :scared: so i can use it for iRacing/F1 2011.

The new Thurstmaster F1 wheel looks fantastic also. How much is it Mr. Owens?

I am not sure actually Masi. :( I thought I had read 600 usd for the F1 version.
