looking at the videos supra im sorry but what on earth case do you have id be massively pi**ed off if i was trying to pass someone who was driving as lets say arrogant as that those moves are something id expect to see from a random person in a random race not a highly clean fast competitve series like this, its actualy like watching the german know as "scumacher" in gt500 car, basicaly your saying its ok for you to push wardez up to a wall and then its not ok for him to try push you back away from the wall to not get pinned against the wall....

or for eg if that was a BTCC race you would have been punted off as they wouldnt take that as the old sayings go "what goes around comes around" or "dont do to others what you cant handle them doing to you" then the aussie one "if your gonna play hard ball expect it to be bounced back at ya"

you should learn these saying before acting like you own the show

END!

Edit -
@Biffy - I think I am talking about the right incident. I apologize if I am not. First corner, correct? I don't agree that was reckless there, you are taking your line. There is no way Phantom should have been there. The reason he was, because he jumped the start and had a lot of extra speed. He could have easily left enough room there for you both to get through. From watching his race, he is frequently causing situations that "encourage" contact. While most of the rest of us are doing our best to avoid the contact.

It was the first corner, but not on the first lap.

I haven't seen any of your incidents yet, but I do agree just because a car doesn't have corner rights, doesn't mean the car with corner rights should just drive like the other car isn't there, in any case, things happen that control our options at times, and the car with corner rights should always be aware of that, let alone the possibility that the car without corner rights may be in a pinch where they'll back off as much as they can.

I said it after the Monza race, there's only two things required for good clean fun racing.
The ability to trust the driver next to you.
Respect for other people on the track.

Skill can play a factor in honest accidents, but in any and every case, if the two things I listed are there, everything will fall into place nicely.

 Sorry, I ran a first lap in practice (not real solid either) of 1:32.5 with it, for me the Denso and my GTR were very close, hard for me to say which was second quickest.
Probably the Denso because I have so much time spent with the GTR giving it an experience advantage.

Agree 👍

Fastest times I managed were 1'32.5's, kept loosening the suspension to get it to fly around those corners but it just seemed like the limit. I don't know how you guys do it, but set-ups are what is separating me from the top drivers, maybe a bit of driver skill too :sly:

General tip - harder suspension (to a point) corners faster, softer helped with the chicane big time here though, basically a "pick your poison" track, softer also helped with the really tight section in sector 2.
Same goes for lowering, but with clearance and traction issue, higher rear gives more traction out of the hole, but accelerates slower and doesn't corner as well, lower accelerates quicker in high gears, but gets thrown off it's game easily, and doesn't have as much traction in lower gears.👍

Every GT5 tuning theory I know of.

QFT!

Ask doctsuru whenever we wind up battling. I can trust that he won't dive or clip me unless I happened to poke my nose where it didn't belong and even then I know it wasn't intentional. The times we've battled I'm sure he's noticed how I reel him in. I can understand not letting up until you have to when there's another racer peeling the paint off your rear bumper, but if the rear view is clear and you're coming up to the turn why not brake early?

I'm sure he's seen the times when I suddenly fade back in his rear view as we reach a turn and as soon as he exits my car is suddenly twice the size it was before. Don't be afraid to brake early, give yourself a smoother, more fluid ride through the turn and you'll be right back on your opponent! You can take a more natural run through a turn and get back on the gas sooner, you'll easily make up any ground you may lose through braking early.

In the first one. i dont even touch Werdes, and i dont think he even touch the wall. I gave him the space he needed. and I followed the rules (lll2&b)

But in the next one Werdes are clearly not side by side in the turn in but use me as a wall and wall ride through the curve. I think this is against the rules ?
My later puch is litle but wrong i now...

Both scumacher and Senna was/is not the cleanest driver but the biggest of all time.

And i dont wont any one to give me positions on the track... i love to fight fore them.

Everything else aside, you can at least have the respect to post the name properly, doesn't matter what country you're from or what your language, it's just disrespectful.
I don't see anyone "accidentally" calling you "stupidfantom" so I don't want to see "werdes" again.

And no, I don't think for a second it's an ongoing "accident" to misspell the name in every single post you make.

I could, you're terrible at it, but I gave you the benefit of the doubt and have assumed your first language isn't English. (I do try to be reasonable)

And no, it's not an "I hate Supraphantom" post, just very disrespectful to repeatedly misspell such an easy name, especially given recent events, regardless of your view of them.

And I would assume the reason people call you "supra" or "phantom" or to shorten the long name, which as long as you don't complain, is reasonable.
Many people just call me "CSL", or "Dom", either of which is fine, some even "CLS", but I hold different standards for how people can treat myself then my friends, internet or not.

I actually typed a response to your views and videos earlier, (where a "werdes" remark was also included) but decided to leave it for the Admins of the series.
No need for more bickering in this thread, it's got plenty.

Hooray for Reply 4000!

Please, please! No more banter! Let the stewards handle the incidents and cases from now on.

The topic now is Round 10 - Daytona Road Course.

Thank You!

Question: Has anyone discovered actual differences between "low" "standard" or "high" internet room settings? (The choice you get when making the room)

I always wondered how you could "select" a better connection, seems a bit off to me.

Well, my connection goes from NAT1 to NAT2 randomly from time to time. Whenever i try to create a room at NAT2 with a 16-player limit, high settings, and disabled chat, it always fails. But when i lower to 'standard settings', all is well.

The lower the settings, the less chance you'll get lag... well, at least that's my interpretation. When i was hosting in Season 1, i always set it to standard and we had few with lag (or car ghosts) even with international racers all the way to Russia (Latvia? I forgot). Same goes to the Scandinavian countries :)

That's what I suspected, I wonder if it changes the physics? I might have to do some testing in the near future...💡

Unfortunately I'm always NAT 2, going to look into faster internet to see if I can afford it. My cable was great, at 16-20 mb/sec, but It skipped out, and I'd likely never finish a race, since it DC'd my entire internet for 2-5 minutes about once an hour. :banghead:
For now asking my fiancee nicely to stay off the internet just for race time is working pretty well, as long as the PS3 is the sole user of my internet for the race.

By the way, about the thing i said about creating a room, it depended on track size as well. With the highest setting, i can't load Nur-24hrs. Eiger? Yes. lol

How about Fios? I don't think it'll be much of a problem for her using the interent... unless he's streaming Netflix or some other high-bandwith things on teh interwebs. Normal browsing like FB and such shouldn't affect it much.

I'm up to fill in tomorrow... Let me know if you need me via pm or on psn @ "posiloan". It says gt300="open" so i thought i'd pop in and inquire as it seems like you guys take this pretty seriously

We did some testing with different room settings prior season one, and came to the conclution that the next highest setting was the best one for most of us.
The "very high" ans "standard" had a bit more issues compared to the "high"..

Since then, we always create our rooms in "high"

It was stated in the OP under "Host Checklist" last time I checked..

Yes we do.
And by reading the OP, and how to sign up is how you show us that you're serious your self and fit in here. 👍

But I do not know what you meen by "tomorrow"...

I think it's still very expensive here, if it even covers my area, but I'm pretty sure Verizon has three speeds, I'm calling them Wednesday to see what they've got.👍

We do, though sometimes we get carried away, nothing to fear, just read and respect the rules and everyone will be glad to have you on board. 👍

I saw the picture at high, just didn't know why for certain. Not fixed room I've heard everywhere, the odd thing to me, is when I make a room, it also suggests high.

I still have to test if the physics change with them, to intriguing to me. :odd:
I MUST KNOW!
Mostly because Wardez said he has the same physics in the one-make races, and I do not.

yes rav looking at the table we did well and we should be the 3rd best team at monaco so we have a good chance and ill be 7th after monaco sweet :D

he means hes sad to read about the GT500 monaco race lol
