The GT300 ballast values listed in the Daytona race thread are incorrect.

In Monaco the ballast values were as follows:
GTP_Aderrrm: 180 kg - 1280 kg
Moleman: 120 kg - 1220 kg
KamyKaze1098: 70 kg - 1220 kg
Shrugging_Atlas: 40 kg - 1140 kg
Litchi_GTPlay: 30 kg - 1205 kg

After Monaco final race results: Aderrrm +50, Atlas +30, Ravellron +10, Moleman -20. Aderrrm reached 200kg limit so he only adds 20 instead of 50 kg.

Therefore for Daytona we should have:

GTP_Aderrrm: 200 kg - 1300 kg // 533 PP
Moleman: 100 kg - 1200 kg // 542 PP
KamyKaze1098: 70 kg - 1220 kg
Shrugging_Atlas: 70 kg - 1170 kg // 544 PP
Litchi_GTPlay: 30 kg - 1205 kg
RAVELLRON: 10 kg - 1135 kg // 537 PP

Well.. 25 min to deadline. I have now run a 1'43.xxx.. But I doubt I will ever re-create it with the controller. I am fine starting at the back of GT500.. Not sure what the ruling on me being wait list vs. with a qualifying lap with the number of drivers we have.

I will still check back every 5-10 min. to see if any admins are around for qualification.

thanks atlas.. lobby right now.. will post number in quick sec

so since there 15 quallied we gonna run all in D1 as a 15 car room ? (5 Gt500s and 9Gt300s?)

My best guess is yes unless anyone's added to the waiting list.

EDIT:

As there'll most likely be only 5-6 GT500 guys, will the points received be lowered?

Hi here. Unfortunately, i'm not available tonight for the run, I have an unexpected. I'm really sorry. I like this track, I'm sad. Good race to all guys. Be the bests

Cheers.

Why would the points be lowered? D1 allows 7 drivers, there is 6 of them. I dont see any reason to lower the points awarded.

Since this is a mixed-class race, I want to bring up something about the banking.

The general rule at Daytona, for those unaware, is that the slower cars (GT300 in this case) hold the inside line, while faster cars (GT 500) take the outside line when passing.

I think it's also important to say that the GT500 cars need to be patient when around the GT300 cars, especially going into Turn 1 or the Bus Stop. It's better to lose a couple of seconds staying behind a slower car going through turn 1 than to lose a couple of minute being aggressive, and trying to barge your way in, having to limp all the way around the track with damage, making an unneeded pitstop, and having to deal with a pissed off GT300 driver after the race.

I noticed at Laguna Seca that a lot of GT500 drivers were very aggressive, trying to force there way around us in GT300, seemingly thinking they have ultimate right of way, when frankly, they don't.

👍

EDIT: Wait, the race is starting now? Did Daylight savings time change in Europe or something? Damnit.

don't worry Paul, Owens might host if we got connection probs, we won't start without you..

Totally messed up my race for what must be the umpteenth time this season, and almost shunted NEPALII off as well. Really need some help or something with consistency next season, it's absolutely killing me, and I need to change my car as well, cause it is a b***h for me to control around the corners with a DS3.

Had a great chance as well starting from 3rd, sick of making these stupid mistakes.
