Also, what's the ruling on the race finish bonus? Masi talked earlier in the thread about going back to the 85% rule where you either get 10 points or simply do not depending on if you finished at least 85% of the race distance.

Are we sticking with a fixed points structure for everything? If we are, then we need to remove the differing "Mixed Class" points system from the OP right above the points tables.

Also, i have a few different numbers on my results than yours Masi.

For example, SupraPhantom. On your table it says he finished 6th in the first round when he finished 8th since he won in the Div. 2 race room. Seems like you moved him up to 6th because 6th and 7th in the Div. 1 race room didn't finish?

JPzer should have 108 not 111 according to the point system I'm using, which I'm assuming is the fixed one you posted earlier.

I see what happened with JP now Masi, you accidently gave him 13 bonus points when he should only have 10. Captain Falcon got both pole and fastest lap bonus points.

The problem with Supra still persists though, let me know if you bumped him up to 6th on purpose. This will all be a lot easier if we based your Excel tables off of my Google Spreadsheet results dump. You can edit that if you have too as well, which I would appreciate because it would make all these questions and assumptions go away for a way more consistent tabulating experience.

Dennis, i think this should be the last time we change anything about the points/points rules to avoid further confusion.

...and oh, how do you calculate team points? I'm a bit confuzzled.

Just leave any personal bonus points out of the team points.

Example:

Remy_K wins a race:
55 + 10 = 65p (55 for the team)

chorda finish 5th, but had pole and got the fastest lap in.
32 + 10 + 3 + 2 = 47p (32 for the team)

Team points:
55 + 32 = 87p

Yes, we should go with the one we are using at the moment.
As far as a D1 driver do not complete 85%, no points are handed out and D2 drivers move up accordingly.
Are we using the one from season 1, or the one where 1st in D2 and last in D1 get the same amount of points?

MULE: It's sad to hear that you quit on purpose. Only reason we use the 85% rule is to try and get people to race to the finishline.

Hi Denilson. I only asked on his behalf now to get first option as he's not around now (probably getting some z's) and he did mention wanting to drive the car before he found out which ones were available.

He did race in the '03 Impreza at Tsukuba, yes. Does this mean that he cannot change teams?

If he is unable to change teams, the Sign-up form will need to be updated to include the RX7 as an option as currently only the '08 Garaiya and the APEX MR-S are available. (even though I thought it was the '03 Garaiya which is the one that's still available).

One more issue: I've taken a look at Wardez's results dump spreadsheet and the three drivers who retired from the last GT300 race @ Tsukuba did not receive any Race Finish % Bonus Points (I had previously given them points based on the laps-completed %).
I have seen some discussion about the points being revised and so I'd like to clear up any doubt i my mind: From now on, 10 Bonus Points are only awarded to drivers who finish at least 85% of the race distance and that NO Race points WHATSOEVER are awarded to drivers who fail to meet this requirement, with exception to the Bonus points earned from posting the Fastest Lap and for achieving Pole Position...?

Yeah we sure do have the quali. Archive. Only thing we don't have is a results archive. Best thing to look at's my final points tables. The exact results are spread out all over the place in different threads. Last 2 races is easy. I got fastest laps in both of them. You can see the times in my profile.
Nurburgring 24h was roun 9, and suzuka enduro was round 10.
I got pole in round 9 as well. And if I recall, Wardez took pole at suzuka. All are in the driver profiles. 👍

GT300's:
GTP_Aderrrm got pole and fastest lap at suzuka if I recall. Also already in the driver profiles.
Moieman got fastest lap at nurrburgring. Aderrrm took pole. It's all in the driver profiles. 👍
