About JPzer.

As you probably read a few posts back, he got some trouble making the 20.00 PM (GMT) start times.

We got 8 rounds left.
Can we move a few of them 1 hour to make sure JPzer can continue racing with us?

He can miss out from 2 out of the last 8 races. So we need to make an effort to move 6 rounds 1 hour. From Green Flag at 20.00 PM (GMT), to Green Flag at 21.00 PM (GMT).

The races that requires the least amount of time are the ones we shoud move.
Nurburgring GP/F, Monza, Daytona, Indianapolis, Laguna Seca and Nurburgring 24h are the ones I suggest we move the green flag one hour in order to keep JPzer racing with us. Please, have a say in this matter. 👍

MULE_9242: Warning
* Warning for serious breach of "Track Contact".

Hu?

Whenever I went off the track that I can recall, I made sure I didn't gain any time from it, so I don't quite understand why I'm being publicly called out here.

You're not being called out. It's just a regular wrap up from a race. I'm not sure exactly what the infraction might've been but I'd get in touch with HortusIX since he's the GT300 director.

I watched your race from lap 6 to 14. Almost every lap, you cut the 2nd chicane on the big straight. And a few other corners as well. Just not to the same degree as the chicane.
It's "just" a warning. But make sure to stay on the right side of the white lines, red/white curb next time.
Sure, we all do mistakes, and that's nothing that WSGTC hands out penalties for. But when it's repededly in the same corner over a number of laps, stewards will point that out. And in this case it's a warning.

This is your Bible. Respect this and read it WELL and THROUGH!

This is a good chance for people to make sure they've got the sporting code read, understood and downloaded.

Also Denilson I'm gonna have to re-assign weight penalties. Have you seen where I've added them in the results sheet?

No, I have not seen that actually.

I don't know how I feel about putting all information in the sheets before the results are final. It's already pretty much work to do for us. It's like we need to do everything twice.

We can just post a provisional result as a standard post in simple text. And when the results are final, we can start adding ballast, points etc to the sheets. How about that?

NOTE: I'm back to work next week. So I'm not able to host sessions as I did last week. I'll try and get a room up by Wednesday for a few hours, but that's all I can promise right now. I'd appritiate if all Capable hosts could fill in for me this week as much as possible to make sure all drivers are able to do their quali. 👍

Yeah that works. I'll pm you later tonight discussing what the order of process should be.

We raced GP/D last Season, I remember because it was the only track where me and the ENEOS didn't qualify dead last. Still both tracks share quite a few turns, so that's probably what Redline was referring too.

I was referring to GP/F as I watched the whole quali session. This was before qualis were done online and they had to be recorded

EDIT: I'm not too sure about moving Green Flag times. Its already 12AM here when we green flag races barring any problems that might postpone the race. Although I am but one in many and if all of you guys agree to change times I guess I'd be ok with it.

Re: Moving things an hour later - not sure about that tbh, it already starts quite late for European guys, and can end very late if there's a delay to the start or if it's a 250km race.

If it applies from this weekend, I will struggle to make it as I plan to race 3 times later this year one of them is this weekend. I am not against it but can it be done for the next race.

Chorda I do use the roofcam as its the only one for me thats comfortable to use.

Yeah Andile. What we're suggesting is that we only push forward the short races of 175 km only. The long distance events would start at 20:00 GMT.

It works out for me because currently I'm getting up from my late-night job @ noon to race here on the West coast USA. Same for Masi.

1 hour later start is music to my ears and to most others in the Americas I imagine. It's difficult geting off work at 3PM to make the 4PM start. Fortunately my boss takes Fridays off during the summer but come fall I'll start missing races. The extra hour would be a big help.

It would help if I actually had the replay, but that can't be right. At least there was no way I was meaning to do that.

The last thing I need right now is a reputation of being "dirty."

Cool, works for me! 👍

I'm ok with the change too.
The Nordic drivers may be a problem though as it will be a little latter for them, but we had at least one saying it works for him too.

Save every replay. Nobody is calling you dirty. It's just what happens if alot of your laps are off track. Some tracks its easier than others to get off track. Just make sure you keep at least 2 wheels on the curbs :scared: 👍

As I said before, I would struggle to make the races if they were an hour later.

Also, penalties are fair.

I wasn't able to save my replay because of what happened with my game glitching and all. I had to restart my PS3, so it didn't let me save the replay.

I don't think anyone in their right mind would think you're dirty because of this warning considering that you're challenging top level racers in Division 1 with a heavy damage, mixed class environment, on your way to a podium.

You're obviously clean as hell. But the thing is that in order to keep a high-level of good racing we're absolutely going to point out every single little detail that can be reasonably pointed out.

Also, if you're worried about getting a dirty reputation then you should've seen me in the beginning of season 1. I rammed JPzer off track twice. Made me feel like the grime underneath your feet. But the cool thing about a series like ours is that we move on and there's nothing more respectful then someone who persheveres in good faith and becomes cleaner than ever possible before.

It's just cool.

Shall we save a comrade from impending demise? Shall the troubles of one belittle the reasoning of plenty?

In the words of Yogi Berra, "It gets late early out there." Let's start a poll, shall we?

Proposal - Move Green Flag forward 1 hour for the shorter (175 km) races? Yay or Nay? State a short reason.

p.s. Ultimate decision will always come from the Admins.

Please include a reason for your vote. A simple short sentence would be fine and dandy! :)

I would do this but I have credits spilling out of my ears on GT5 :sly:
