To all OFFICIAL WSGTC drivers.

I plan a special event held at Friday, August 26th.
Theme: GT500 / Knockout tournament.
This is just for fun for the guys who want to race next friday. As we all know. WSGTC takes a 2 week brake after the 4th round.
16 first drivers that signs up will make this 1 room event.
There will be maximum 5 minutes between every race. So time to do setups, and small tweaks will not be there. Just get out and race! That's what this event is all about.

Any WSGTC approved GT500 car may be used. It have to be tuned to WSGTC rules. You have to use the car of your choice during the entire event. You can not change from one race to another.

CT: 19.30 PM (GMT), 20.30 PM (BST)
GF: 20.30 PM (GMT), 21.00 PM (BST)

Round 1. Rome - 16 cars - 8 laps - Top 12 make it to round 2.
Round 2. London - 12 cars - 6 laps - Top 8 make it to round 3.

2nd chance: TokyoR246 - 3 laps - The 8 knocked out drivers from round 1 and 2 will battle eachother. - top 4 will join round 3.

Round 3. Eiger Nordwand (Weather) - 5 laps - 8 drivers from round 2 + 4 drivers from 2nd chance. Top 6 moves on to the final.

3rd chance: SSR5 - 6 last drivers from round 3 will battle for 4 spots in the final.

Final: SSR7 (Weather) - 3 laps.

Winner will recieve a 1.000.000 cr car of his choice from the NCD.

Dennis.. just to confirm.. I can wait for Wardez' qualifying session? The later time is legit this week because of PSN being down.

edit - I can go sooner if need be.. Just taking a break as my eyes are dry after racing with Remy and Owens for a while.. Btw, great practice guys. That helped me a bunch

Yes. Deadline is postponed by 9 hours. No more, no less. 👍
So just add 9 hours to the standard deadline, and you got the new, and legit deadline for round 4. 👍

Thanks mate. I believe Wardez' room will be up 2 hrs past normal deadline... so that should work out perfect. Thanks for the clarification.... and I apologize for being a bit behind in the thread. I am trying to catch up.

It's a popular series, and the pace in this thread is intense. It's hard to keep up with everything. Even for me, and I monitor the thread A LOT!

A quick tip is to read thru all posts that you've missed. Sure, it could be quite a few after a couple of days. But it's always good to know what's going on.
Besides, at least for me, I love when I find out that I got 3-4 pages to read. 👍 ;)

Im out of town next week so can't attend the Spot race. Good thing its off-week for the Championship 👍

I don't have a car ready with a setup.

I think it would be unfair to reserve the spot. But if no one signs up soon and chooses that car, then i guess you can lure anyone you want :sly: You fellas should try GT300s... hmmm..... how bout a Special event where drivers switch classes? :dopey:

How many ours is it left to qualify? I got home at 23:30 last night from a long day at work, but I could not find any room to qualify in at that time. Now I am back at work........... again.

Qualifying Deadline has been moved forward to compensate for the PSN Maintenance. You can still do your qualy now, Dantedani36 has a room up.

Sorry Wes.. I blew qualifying again. Looks like D2 again for me. Dani is checking my second lap right now, which I don't think was fast enough for D1 anyway.. If not clean, my other lap is quite slow.

It is difficult now beacuse I am at work, so how many minutes hours is it still possible to make a qualify time?
 
Too tired to stay up any later Wardez. Not going to make it to your room. GL on your qualifying and gl tomorrow.
