Are we sorted for D2 nurburgring snapshot now? If not I will be able to run replay in about an hour, post if it's still needed

Still no snap shots from the D2 race.
Since me, masi and Wardez all raced in D1 this week, no one got the D2 replay.
So please, can you help us out? 👍

Or any other D2 driver for that matter.

To all OFFICIAL WSGTC drivers.

I plan a special event held at Friday, August 26th.
Theme: GT500 / Knockout tournament.
This is just for fun for the guys who want to race next friday. As we all know, WSGTC takes a 2 week brake after the 5th round.
16 first drivers that signs up will make this 1 room event.
There will be maximum 5 minutes between every race. So time to do setups, and small tweaks will not be there. Just get out and race! That's what this event is all about.

Any WSGTC approved GT500 car may be used. It have to be tuned to WSGTC rules. You have to use the car of your choice during the entire event. You can not change from one race to another.
DAMAGE: Light
TIRES: Racing SOFT
PIT STOP: It's up to you.
We'll do a live quali 20 minutes prior round 1. After that, the latest race results will also be our grid spots for the next race.
I will not review replays, or take incident reports. I hope that all of us knows how to race WSGTC style by now. 👍

CT: 19.30 PM (GMT), 20.30 PM (BST)
GF: 20.30 PM (GMT), 21.00 PM (BST)

Round 1. Rome - 16 cars - 8 laps - Top 12 make it to round 2.
Round 2. London - 12 cars - 6 laps - Top 8 make it to round 3.

Are you kidding me??
You say that WSGTC admins/orginizers would act that childish??

You shoul race here a few more weeks to get to know us better.
It's always the same thing.. New guys who don't think that stewards are proffessional.. And claims that we never hand out penalies to us.
If I was involved in an incident, I would ofc not be the one who judge the situation.
Wardez did not judge the situation with dantedani36, it was me.

This discussion is now over. And since no penalty was handed out, it was a "perfect" situation to highlite how corner rights will be delt with.
This: If two cars enter a corner alongside eachother, imagine a central line in the tarmac and stay on your respective side of it and everything will be good.

I agree. Unfortunately, I didn't take part in the race but I can assure anyone/everyone that incidents are investigated with an unbiased, objective approach. To imply that stewards would not penalise each other is nonsense. All the admins and the stewards take this competition seriously and I'm comfortable no untoward goings on would ever take place.

The fact that, at la Sarthe, one official offered to take a penalty which shouldn't have been given anyway, should be proof enough.

It's unfortunate that some may believe that the officials here are in anyway biased toward each other.

Denilson isnt that good enough ? ;)

I've seen that one. It's a perfect provisional photo. All I need to know now is all drivers fastest laps. At what lap drivers DC's at.. Exact. Not perhaps, maybee etc.

I also need the distance the driver without an official time was to the winner.
To calculate that correct. Look at the live timing screen the last time the cars with no total time passed, and how far behind the leader they were at that time.
We need all this information to crete the tables. 👍

Either a photo of the Live timing screen about 2 min 55 secnds after the first car finished.
Or if all gaps are not in it, do like this:

"Final, and OFFICIAL D1 results, Round 4

1. Remy_K (1:56.042) 55+10+3+2=70p
2. Paginas (1:56.449) + 18.784 | 49+10=59p
3. C-Falcon89 (1:56.774) + 58.510 | 43+10=53p
4. Wardez (1:56.385) + 1:00.932 | 37+10=47p
5. dantedani36 (1:36.455) + 1:13.051 (25 sec penalty for causing avoidable damage, lap 6, T1) 32+10=42p
6. chorda (1:56.309) + 1:23.684 | 27+10=37p
7. SupraPhant0m (1:57.227) + 1:41.442 | 22+10=32p

1. GTP_Aderrrm (2:01.283) | 55+10+2=67p
2. KamyKaze1098 (2:02.829) + 30.386 | 49+10=59p
3. Moleman (2:01.795) + 31.108 | 43+10+3=56p
4. Josh_F_1998 (2:03.220) + 42.269 | 37+10=47p
5. Shrugging_Atlas (2:02.994) + 1:01.799 | 32+10=42p
6. SteelToedSloth (2:03.945) + 1:25.400 | 27+10=37p
-. GTP_Masicampo DC'd at lap 25/40 = 0,625 = 63% = 6p Race Completion Bonus. Total: 6p

Reports that did not end up in a penalty:
1. C-Falcon89 and SupraPhantom, lap 3, first lefthander in sector 2.
C-Falcon89 and SupraPhant0m enter the corner alongside eachother, C-Falcon89 got the inside, and SupraPhant0m got the outside.
C-Falcon89 hit SupraPhant0m which sent SupraPhant0m off. SupraPhant0m lost about 8-12 seconds.
When the contact occured, C-Falcon89 was all the way to the inner curb, and SupraPhant0m is not giving him any room, nailing C-Falcon89 between the inner curb and SupraPhant0m's car. Making it impossible for C-Falcon89 to do anything without either go wide, or hit SupraPhant0m.
SupraPhant0m should leave more space, and not go in to C-Falcon89's part of the track (the inside).
Imagine a roads middle line thru the corner, each car have to stay on it's respective side of that line as long as the cars are alongside eachother. SupraPhant0m did not stay on his side when he was pushed off, and therefore, no penalty is given.

2. Wardez and dantedani36
Fast right kink in the beginning of sector 5, back straight, lap 5.
Wardez go on the inside, and dantedani36 on the outside.
Since dantedani36 did not stay on his side of the tarmac, no penalty is given to Wardez.
NOTE: If dantedani36 wa on the correct side of the track, and got pushed off, the situation would've been different.
Exakt the same corner right issue as the previous incident."

Thanks doctsuru_69. But I need more details.
Fastest laps
All gaps
Exact at what lap drivers DC'd

👍

Tough job, but i'll do that. i will run the replay now and watch the final results. I'm not sure though if the replay will display all GAPS.
p.s. - can't watch the replay all the way to finish since i'm busy with my kids. :)

My link in previous post should work.
I watched the replay this morning, but couldn't find how to upload it.
Technology and me don't really get on very well. Lol

i got fastest lap in D2 GT300 no points but :D anyway :sly: only .04 better than scanny shows how close we were all race ;)
+1:17 doesnt make sence since we (me and scanny finished and you didnt...)

I'm confused also. Your gap posted as +1:32.992 and you finished 2nd from Scanny. It doesn't make sense really. :ouch:

I posted this after the race (post #1836)
Something'S wrong with GT5. I was watching the replay, Scanny and paulmac was battling for 1st and 2nd (paused it on lap 9/40) but on the driver's list paul was 7th.

During the formation lap with GT500, few GT300 cars ghosted for about 5 seconds then suddenly reappear in front of me on the first turn. The rest of the race was fine on my end.

Could this be the reason why your GAP is longer than mine?
I reviewed the snap shot by twist and compared it with mine-- my GAP is the only inconsistent value in the race result. I believe your GAP time is correct.👍

The gap is the last time you cross the finish line. If you only completed 39 laps that will be the time difference.

yup, mine is the only inconsistent value in the race result. i agree with you. i will review the replay and take another snap shot of the final result.

That's at least some of the info I need.
ou see the 4 last driver, from MULE and after. See that no gap is dislayed?
If you pause the game the last time there was a gap displayed, take a photo, and then I'm fine.
Also need the exact lap where drivers go DC'd.

I will watch the replay again tomorrow morning and get the info you need.

@Denilson, Wardez, Masi:
Lynchy - DC'd lap 16
Joshua1994 - DC'd lap 22

replay paused. late for work.:)

I don't know how we can get any more info from this one. I took a video of the last minute of the race before the replay restarted. loaded it to a video editing software, and saved the last frame as jpeg. There's no GAP time for the last four drivers.

As long as the winning GT500 did not lap you, a gap is displayed. If the winning car did lap you, the gap will just show as (-1)..
So just estimate how far you had to go when the countdown reached zero. If you had about 30 seconds to finish the race, your gap would be 3 minutes plus 30 seconds.
It's not accurate, but that's the best we can do.
And if you had a car about 5 seconds behind you, just add anothe 5 seconds as that cars gap.

How about if we just simplify it? Declare Mule, GTP_Pinoy, and Silent as DC'd on lap 40, and MH4 DC'd on lap 39. Just put Silent ahead of me (my 25 seconds penalty). 💡

That's a bit to easy. A 25 second penalty will not automaticly meke you loose a spot. But as you say, the most important in this case is to know how far behind you Silent_4_Hill was when the countdown reached zero. And ofc any other driver that might finished behind you.

But the correct way would be the one I suggested in my latest post. In a scenario where more penalties are handed out, we need to know all total times.
