Cool that's what I thought. They look great for not so much effort. I'd just want to make sure that the results are exactly the same through out.

Fast right kink in the beginning of sector 5, back straight, lap 5.
Wardez go on the inside, and dantedani36 on the outside.
Since dantedani36 did not stay on his side of the tarmac, no penalty is given to Wardez.
NOTE: If dantedani36 wa on the correct side of the track, and got pushed off, the situation would've been different.
Exakt the same corner right issue as the previous incident.

WHAT? Comoon, have you even watched the replay man? I didn't
want any penaltys to be given out of this situation, and we
settled it with wardez. This really pisses me of, how can
you say it was my fault when Wardez made a mistake by driving
on the grass and therefore slid onto me??? :tdown:I gave him all the space
he needed to make that pass.

Sorry if you mis-read that but you were awarded a penalty because of the incident with Supra. And no I didn't ignore your PM. We deliberated it and came to the decision Denilson posted after careful review. Also, to be clear: Supra passed you on the outside, had at least a half-car length on you and was set up on the inside of turn 2 so he had the racing line. You needed to back off a bit more but didn't and although Supra could've been more careful, he had right to the corner and thus the set up to it.

Yes I know I didn't get a penalty for that. That's not the point, the point
is that the accident we had was no my fault. It was okay by me to not
give any penaltys for that as I said before. So I can drive thru grass and hit someone and not get a penalty for it in the future?

I didn't drive through the grass at all. I use all of the small stone kerbing on the right side of the kink to try and go side-by-side but the implication was that you kept going on as though I wasn't going for the pass.

Leading cars have the right to choose their own line down a straight. They can change their racing line once while driving down a straight (Move from the outside line to the inside, or vice versa). As they approach the next corner, they can return to the racing line of their choice However, they're not allowed to change their line when the behind driver is directly behind and changes his line to try and make a pass. If your movement causes an accident, you're responsible.

dantedani36: Take it easy.
Look at your 4th picture. As you two go side by side, you should stay on the outside. Imagina a central line. And you two should stay on each respective side.
It's in the "corner rights" in the OP.
Look at how much spece you got on the outside. You are supposed to share that space with your fellow driver. Not go in to his side and "steel" his space. Since this is sim-racing, and not real racing, this is the way we handle corner rights. Each car have to stay on each respective side of the "central line".
And no penalty was handed out. No harm done. Ok mate?

Since perifial vision is limited in sim-racing, we need to be a bit more strict to make sure to minimize the risk of accidents. If you had kept your outside, Wardez would not have needed to even touch the grass. He ends up there because you started to cut the corner, which you are not allowed to as long as you got a car alongside you going in to a corner. Hope you see what I mean. And by looking at your 4th picture, it's obvious how much space you got on your outside. That space is supposed to be shared with your fellow racer.

It's not the way it works in reality, I know.. But it's the way it works in sim-racing. Lag and the lack of perifial vision is why we use rules like this.
And after all, no harm was done, right? 👍

i was not in this race nor did i even watch this race but just looking at the pics, i must say guys it doesn't look good. i don't know how anyone can say that dante is at fault wardez had enough room to get back on track without contact atleast thats how it looks in the pictures, why did you drive off into grass in the first place i don't know, it looked as if you had the racing line and would have made the pass but i am just looking at pictures without motion, i know it has nothing to do with me but looking at pics i saw something different then the admin of this series. but they are admin and thats that.

You shoul race here a few more weeks to get to know us better.
It's always the same thing.. New guys who don't think that stewards are proffessional.. And claims that we never hand out penalies to us.
If I was involved in an incident, I would ofc not be the one who judge the situation.
Wardez did not judge the situation with dantedani36, it was me.

This discussion is now over. And since no penalty was handed out, it was a "perfect" situation to highlite how corner rights will be delt with.
This: If two cars enter a corner alongside eachother, imagine a central line in the tarmac and stay on your respective side of it and everything will be good.

No one said that dante is at fault. Wardez did not drive on to the grass. He kept 2 wheels on the red+white rumble strip, which is classed as track. Therefore, he took as tighter line as he possibly could. Wardez had enough room to get back on track? Clearly not as when Wardez came off the kurbing (which is track) dante was there which caused the contact. Dante put himself in that position, and he could have avoided going off into the gravel by giving Wardez a bit more room. Dante lost out and because he was the cause, no penalty was given. 💡

Wardez was sufficiently alongside Dante prior to the turn-in point of the corner. That warrants him (Wardez) the right to the inside lane, but he needs to stay there until he is clear. Dante it seems (from the pictures) continued to drive into the inside lane onto the apex, i guess he assumed that no one was there, which is understandable since peripheral vision is limited. I don't think Wardez slid up the track since its a flat out corner. It would be better to judge with a video. But in any case, there was no penalties handed out on either one. So all is well that ends well.

And in reply to LuckyLeft2Gunz comment: Any steward (that includes us Admins) can be subject to penalties too. If you happen to be a 'steward', you'll be excluded from judging and deliberation on weather you'll be given a penalty or not. The incident was reported and other Stewards decided on it. Not him (Wardez).

There is no race held on the 26th to quali for. No WSGTC race are held that friday, just an extra event for the ones who want to have a fun casual race. To join the casual race on friday 26th, just copy the signup list that I saw a page or two back.. 👍
