btw the chaperall crashes all the time in the wall..
in the race i won.. he crashed 2 times.. and was about 40 sec behind me..
so dont tell me its not possible-.-
i think some ppls are like the bob... thats the only reason why u couldnt beat the event

What level is your b-spec driver? Mine just likes to sit behind the other Toyota 7. And if he tries to overtake after the tunnel, bang! into the wall in the inside.
And cut the crap about mistakes. Hello? This is B-spec. I can ask bob to go faster or overtake or slower. Thats it. If he wants to bang into the wall in a place perfectly suited for overtaking..........

My bob blasted through Historic cup with the chaperall 2J, i was amazed... i did it as well but by cheating in the first race. I smashed into the toyota 7 at the first curv, it left the track, and crashed, then it became tame and i had no competition... :x I had absolutely no competition at the Cote d'Azur.
My bob is damn good now by the way, he won the all stars cup, and i can't... T-T

What problem? I did not mention I pushed him too hard. If any, I am guessing I should push harder.

And the Chaparrals have not crashed so far. Tried 4 times and the only AI that crashes are those in front of me. which causes my car to plough straight into them and spin out. And oh yea, there is no crash and spin command for bob either.....💡

I just won the first race by 1.339. I started the race after the first turn with only two slower cars in front of me. I let them lead for the first 2 laps. Then I passed them giving the super fast cars behind me more traffic to deal with. These slower cars held off the real competition handily for the rest of the race!
Same thing happens to me on B-spec....over and over and over and....cars in front crash after the tunnel, then my Level 23 B-spec driver plows right into the pile and gets turned around. Then he watches as most of the pile gets going before he even attempts to start moving again. Pathetic.

I cant do it with B-Spec Bobo at Monaco. I use the Toyota 7 with the suggested settings (medium tyres, toe rear 0.0 and so on, also tried ride height -20). My B-Spec-Level is 21, but he ranks on 6th to 8th place. What else can I do to win there?

Won the B-spec in Cote d'Azur last night using a P4. It was a nail biter. Maynard, my first B-spec driver is a level 18 and has a moderate temperament. He hasn't been doing well lately and is timid in corners. So, I haven't been playing him for a while. Since all my other drivers were in bad form, I thought I'd give Maynard a try.
Just on a hunch, I gave him a "overtake" command right at the beginning. To my amazement, he just darted to 4th place by the first corner or second corner. He then slowly worked his way through to 2nd place, but, there was a 2J in front. No matter how hard I push him, he just could not catch that. So, ended up in second.
Next race, I gave the overtake command at the beginning again, but was not so lucky and lost a couple of places by the first corner. Then he hit a couple of barriers and ended up in last place by first lap. So, I just let him do his own race and watched a bit of TV. He ended up around 6th.
On third race there was no 2J in front, but there was a Toyota 7. I gave the overtake command again as usual and he was in 4th place by the second corner. He was driving like a maniac. Pace down to calm him and once he is gaining on the 3rd place car, I gave the overtake command just before the corner. He did a brilliant late break and squeezed in to 2nd place, but was too excited. So, again got him to pace down and used the same tactic to get in to first place by the 5th lap.
However, the 2J was breathing down his neck and I was pretty nervous. Luckily, it ht the rail on the chicane and got stuck. Maynard then cruised to victory. It was a good combination of luck and good driving. Pit boss wasn't bad either

I managed to gold b-spec in the Toyota 7 by putting the gear ratio to a max speed of about 160, ride height -20 and stiffening up all the suspension. Then, go really aggressive from the start and try to get in first place, but always ease off on the chicane.
Took me 3 or 4 attempts, but golded it in the end
I won in the countach after several attempts. I tuned the Lambo to 280 km/h max speed. Here is my video replay

I won in the Toyota 7 first try at Deep Forest, by about 6 seconds or something, even with getting off track for a couple seconds.
I won at Cote D' Azur on my third try, since I suck at that track and don't know it very well and kept spinning or hitting walls. Ending up winning by 8 seconds or something.
Definitely the easy way to do it.

Fluk, lose the Countach... Seriously consider getting the '69 camaro (that you race mod) or the Dodge car that's similar. I won Deep Forest w/the Camaro fairly easily...and it took me several tries but I also won the Monaco (Coled'Azur?) with it. It was NOT easy but I did it. Eventually I finished the B-spec "Like the Wind" so now I have the Toyota 7.
B-spec is another story. The Chaparral's almost always (1 of them) get to the front and RUN. I manage the heck out of my racer but he still can't seem to get better than 2nd place. Frustrating to watch as there are SO MANY places where the AI drive like panzies... Slow, slow slow...then they idiotically slam into the barrier at the chicane...
Oh well, I hated this track in GPL, (look it up kiddies, it's a real racing sim) and I've hated it in every race sim I've ever done. As soon as I get Gold in B-spec w/it, I'll never return to it unless it's part of some challenge I have to complete.

After reading your post I was looking for the 69 RM Camaro but couldn't find it in used for ages 
As you mentioned could be done with the Toyota I decided to pass the time with Bob, and then would do it in either the RM or the Toyota if Bob got there before I saw the Camaro in the used lot.

I think I spoke too soon about Bob. He destroyed the Deep Forest race by about 16 seconds over 2nd place.
However, he's currently in 8th on Cote d' Azur. I think the track is just too technical for him, and I also need to give him a better setup probably.

Finally, after dozens of tries, my level 25 B-spec Bob won Côte d'Azur by 20+ seconds!
