What people wanted (might be too late)
braunracing88 - 21st August 2013 - Responded to traffic violation by calling the cops. Then got kicked in the :censored:ing nuts.

Hope that the lower power for FF´s was a Brain-fart from yours Mel !!

I have a great Idea:
BANN AWD CARS !! Or bann the center Torque split !! (ok later isn´t checkable but ...)

Why ?? GT5 isn´t real racing => heavier AWD´s are faster in GT5 (WHAT ???)
=> its ridiculous to spec them with FWD/RWD cars.
(Are the AWD´s in WTCC ?? No; there you have it)

All moan (me too).
AWD too slow on straight, FF too fast on straight, AWD too fast on lap, FF to slow against the AWD armada, etc..

Maybe this is a Brain-fart from myself but ...

Much as I hate to say this Mel... he has a point.

The AWD will be nerf'd quite heavily.

Don't worry, FFs and FRs will be made slightly faster... Slightly.

Okay, there are only 8 cars to choose from now.

Therefore, I'm re-opening testing/registration for everyone.

Asides from ECM/RPM (Volvo) and Kitten Racing (Subaru), everyone's going to have to pick a car from the OP.

Edit: I'm taking either the Lexus, Alfa, or SEAT.

Why no Opel and why couldn't you just ban 4WD, only they had an advantage?

Why is Kitten's Subaru still allowed and not ours? Not complaining, just wondering.

No, actually, I've changed my mind about the Subaru.

I'll stick with the Honda Civic please

👍

Actually, this is going to happen.

Because that would involve too much logic.

After testing:

Focus ST: 1:09.8 (276/1200 kg)
Honda Civic Type R '08: 1:10.2 (276/1200)
Volvo C30: 1:10.4 (Lancer's crappy tune)(266/1200)

Nissan Primera 20V: 1:10.8 (276/1200)
Alfa Romeo 156: 1:10.8 (276/1200)
Opel Vectra: 1:10.8 (276/1200)
BMW 330i: 1:10.8 (256/1200)
SEAT Ibiza Cupra: (untested :( )

Cars in bold need further testing.

Alright, today's testing will be at Tokyo R246. No, not any races. The lap times testing that I'm going to be doing.

Testing lobby open in my lounge, going to make a video detailing the cars, and the reason why I'm choosing them.

Expect further tweaks to not only the specs, but also perhaps the cars themselves. The brands will remain, but not necessarily the models.

Well, okay, fine, the SEAT, BMW, Nissan and Opel are fine. Everything else may be changed.

Edit: Alfa Romeo fine, too.

I admit, I can't get the following cars to match the others:

Alfa Romeo 156
Opel Vectra
Honda Accord Euro R
