Use any of the '07 or '10 Imprezas.Ah, any chance of getting the correct details for the cars listed in the OP? WRX STI was made from the mid 90s, clarity on details would be appreciated,
When is this suppose to be happening?
What track are you all using for testing?
MrMooMel, have you changed your mind about driving a yellow car for a change?![]()

I'm using the '07 Hatchback Impreza.
My Citroen can only get to 242 HP, am I missing something on it? I have all the parts available, but it is 34 HP off what it is listed as.
Iirc, mine had 276 perfectly fine.Is yours broken in, with clean oil, and engine rebuild? What about a turbo? And the Engine Tuning?
That's avg. If you're really busting your DS3/Wheel you'll be able to pull 1:31 and 1:21.Madrid, and Cape Ring South.
Madrid times: 1:32
Cape Ring South: 1:22
Is that race start 9.15? Because TOCA Carrera Cup only finishes at 9.30.
You're only spending $17,000 on your paint?
My paint cost me $3. Stupid DLC paint pack.
Important reminder:
The first preseason round of ITCC 3 is this Friday; Friday August 16th, 20:15 GMT-0. That's 21:15 BST, 14:15 PST, 16:15 EST.
Please be ready with a fully prepared car, and with your team colours, and a rough tuning setup.
The races will be run according to the OP.
Rolling start races:
Qualifying Race #1: Cape Ring South, 8+1 laps
Qualifying Race #2: Cape Ring South, 8+1 laps
Standing Start races:
Feature race #1: Cape Ring South, 16+1 laps
Feature race #2: Cape Ring South, 16+1 laps
For the rolling start races, odd positions (1st, for example) will line up on the left, and accelerate at the first timing line, called the "acceleration line." By the start/finish line, no passes shall have been made, but the race shall be under way as of crossing it.
Standing start races will be gridded the same way, and will begin at a set time. The time will be announced by me.
One last thing I forgot to mention:

Post up your lap times and max speeds!![]()
The amazing part is, those speeds at Cape Ring South never saw me get above 5th gear. I also tested at SSR5, Trial Mountain, Suzuka East, and Monza, and only at Monza was I in 6th gear for any decent amount of time. And that was while running the 6-speed close ratio transmission. Is that normal? Also, at Suzuka East and Trial Mountain, the Impreza was often close to or more than one second per lap faster than my Scirocco in last season's specs.
Toyota gt86
You just opened that door?
Ill step in it![]()
Hmmmm, I just don't think you get along with FF cars. The Scirocco, when furinkazen, polar, and I tested, was normally a second faster than the other cars.Your tuning setup on the Scirocco...
![]()
I recall the Scirocco being the worst-tuned ITCC car, out-of-the-box, but the fastest when it was tuned correctly.I don't know how to tune it, but I got a decent tune and it was super fast! Then I tried my Evo, last season, and realized it was too far down on power.
It's still a bit slow... The BMW was just as nice handling, but, we had to nerf it back a bit... In the end, things swung in favour of the Volvo a little bit, but, I couldn't tune it.
There are two doors and a hatch. Which will you use?
Joking aside, the specs haven't been confirmed yet, but I'd like to see fewer 4WD cars, just to ensure that it's not just a 4WD vs. 4WD series, with no contest from the other drivelines. We'll make it a much more diverse series, hopefully.
So, TL;DR, I want RWDs, testing to be done, spec unconfirmed.
That's exactly what's going on. It's been that way since Season 1.
The Honda Civics and such were fastest around a lap of a track in season 1, by a wee bit, but the pit-stops killed the FFs. The 4WDs were slightly sluggish on the straights, and the FRs showed the best tire life and overall speed.
Season 2, the 4WDs were not as disadvantaged over a 1-lap session because of the tire rules change, so they were fast on the tracks with lots of hairpins, while FFs were fastest at High Speed Ring. The FRs, as normal, slotted into the middle.
