Help Thread For Los Santos Missions.

Hey. Games a blast got it yesterday. Umm i go to emmets to get a PIECE, but all there is, is a gun in the back. How do you like go to his house and get a different gun like an uzi or something. The only other way i get a gun is runing over ballas. Oh and just to let ya guys know i haave 6500 from mission but mostly killing people, any ideas for a safe house that can store many cars.

I don't think I've seen any property that cheap yet-- I've seen a couple for 10,000 without a garage-- I think you need more $$$---

If you want a machine gun (I forget which one) there is one over at Unity Station (train station) behind the wall next to the parking lot-- Its a bit more powerful then an uzi...hopefully the ammo transfers over.

I also located a sniper rifle if anyone wants that---

I meant the one where you have him on the bike with you chasing the gay sounding guy. He's a really crap shot and I'm struggling to follow the guy on still unfamiliar streets.

There is an AK47 located somewhere in LS. Also if you want real guns to be easily aquired and plentiful, beat the 'Doberman' mission (I think) which opens up turf battles and just collect all the SMG's and Rifles that the Ballas and Vagos use.

Im assuming the Yellow gang in LS are called the Vagos, can someone back me up on this, i'm having a blank moment.

Yes he does have missions once you beat that one. My tips are just follow him, I didn't bother making sure OG Loc had a good aim after a few tries. After a while he just got off his bike and I just shot him.

Haha. We gave away a minor spoiler there without realising it. :dopey:

I'm not sure what advice to give. I chased him half way around the city on the bike before I got him. I eventually got him to fall off the bike so I could just get off and shoot him myself. Everyone who does drive-bys with you is a crap shot.

Well Green is obviously Grove, Pink is ballas, so yes yellow must be the Vagos.

Yup, I found an AK47 and armor beside each other, but I can't remember where. I think I've a rough idea where, but I can't find it again. :dopey:

That AK47 is very useful for shooting guys when you're on foot. And I found an MP5 (I don't think it's called an MP5 in the game though) out in the country somewhere.

It's very good for drive-bys.

Also, I don't know whether this can be answered in this thread, but when you get I suppose 'chucked' out of LS after doing the 'Green Sabre' do you still get the money icon outside your safehouses?

EDIT: The AK is very useful in turf wars sniping off the far away targets at the start of the wars.

Does anyone know if not taking over all the rival gang areas causes a problem with getting 100%??? I only took over 1 area--- didn't make alot of money and I think I'm gonna need it.
 
Well I don't think this is a spoiler, but i'll say it no matter what, I have just around 50% of the LS turf at the moment, and I get basically no profit from the money icon anyway, maybe $1000 every 2 or 2.5 days. So money making from this isn't that great.

I haven't a clue but I'd be surprised if Rockstar designed the game in such a way that you couldn't get 100% because of something you did. In Vice City it looked like they'd deliberately designed it so that no matter what way you played the game, nothing you did would block missions or tasks that prevented 100%. I think they might have been aware of angry GTA III fans who discovered that they couldn't get 100% because of something they'd no way of knowing.

But who knows? The GTA games have a reputation for strange annoyances or glitches. I think I'm going to save in a new game slot as soon as I unlock San Fierro and keep my original game just in case.

I'm getting $2600 from the safehouse you start out with when you start the game. And I own maybe 35% of the turf.

The only person who falls off is OJ and he takes his bloody time getting back on. I try to hit the guy while I'm chasing him, but the roads are so up and down I'm hitting tarmac most the time.

I'll try again tomorrow.
 
But you get the fun of taking over all the turf---

I really haven't done anything since I opened up the 2nd island--- I completed one more unique jump and finished dating Denise--- got her up to 100%--- you have to keep dating her or it drops back of (2% per day or so)-- I also heard her dedicate a song to CJ on one of the radio stations-- I don't know if they made it do it after you start dating her or if its in there the whole time... :lol:

I'll probably ask on another forum and find out--- I might just take it all over anyway--I don't know if there are rampages or not-- this might be the next best thing--unless you have to defend your turf too much...anybody know if the instances of rival gangs attacking your turf increase as you get more turf???

Regarding the OG Loc mission-- I don't think it matters if you shoot him or not-- I believe he stops eventually on his own--- I did shoot at him if I got a good clean shot at him-- trick is not to lose him.... eventually he stopped (at the same place both times--first time I made it that far I got killed)-- and ez to pick after that.

I've unlocked her but haven't taken her on a date yet. I was cruising around on my BF400 trying out some spots that looked like unique jump spots and I got a stats message that said my rating with her had increased.

I must be some sort of stud:dopey: Haven't even taken her for a date already she's starting to get more attracted to me.

Is there any way to get easy money thats not obvious to me, the only reason I'm taking over all the turf is so I can get some good money, but I hate turf wars. Any tips will be appreciated.

P.S. I just pimped out my Tornado, put it in my garage, saved my game, came back out to drive it and it was stock again. :grumpy:
 
@ the P.S.: I have a pimped out Huntley(Land Rover) and a pimped out Stafford(Rolls Royce) I kept them in my santa maria safehouse garage and they were not changed still pimped out. Some glitch I guess.
 
Does anyone know how to beat the mission for OG Lock "House Party"? I keep dying once the Ballas start coming out of the alleys. :indiff:
 
When you shoot they guys from the bridge and you gang say they are coming from the alley. Stay where you are, use the car as protection and shoot the (around) 6 Ballas that come from behind. Then after you've cleared them out, turn around and help the rest of the OGF clean out the rest of the Ballas that come from the main alley.

Thats how I did it and it worked very well.

EDIT: Go buy some armour from Ammu-nation first.

Then after you've cleared them out, turn around and help the rest of the OGF clean out the rest of the Ballas that come from the main alley.
