It took me about 2-3 hours to get to the point I am at now. I will admit that it takes a toll. Im thinking I might have someone do the decals for me, as I don't paint my decals anymore. That black corvette with the blue striping was the last time I did that.

I will say, the tail lights on the Supra is by far my favorite piece of work so far. Im most proud of that.

I do also have the same car Cano last showed us. But its still stock, with detailing. It is a '40 Ford Coupe. Copyrighted 2001.

A couple pictures to update you all on my Supra project, I still don't know what I am doing so any suggestions are very welcome. I used Squadron white putty to fill in the imperfections of the casting around the spoiler and the areas where I damaged it drilling for the exhaust. I also went ahead and filled in the gas door since I hope to put a fuel cell in the interior. The exhaust in these pictures are just scrap that I used to get an idea of what it would look like. The finished product will be trimmed closer to the body.

A front view showing a mock up of the intercooler I stole from a 350Z. It was a pain. Next time I will use something else haha.

Here is the heavily hacked chassis required for the huge tires. The chute and wheelie bars are from the 1940 Ford Truck by Hot Wheels, the brass piping to the side will be used for the rollcage. When I opened up the 350Z to take its intercooler I noticed it had racing seats so I took one of those as well, I plan on keeping the interior black but detailing the harness and such.

Out of curiosity, why are you using brass piping for the roll cage? I would assume you're going to paint it since roll cages aren't usually made out of brass I'd think. In that case wouldn't plastic be easier to work with?

Its definitely not staying that color! Honestly because it was the perfect diameter so I thought i would try it out because I make things more difficult than I should. lol

Dude, I love your Supra project, really close to what a real Supra would look like in drag trim in real life, very cool. Love the tires. Nice mess on the chassis too  keep us posted 👍

I opened it up, and it fell into pieces. I just decided to give it some dents and make it into a junkyard car for that diorama which I have yet to start.

Set up a backdrop. Then your pics ill look much prettier. I see a lot of good work by others, but they never put the effort into presentation so they lose out.

Here's a teaser of stuff I'm almost ready to finish.

Damn you and your blury teasers, I wanna see the Porsche!

Hey guys. I have just found my next four projects. All HW, 2012 Muscle '69 Boss 302, 2011 Vintage Racing 1968 Dodge Dart , an Off Road Sandblaster, and a HW City Falken Tire Supra. All but the Supra come as real riders, but they will be getting repaints, and detailing. Possibly a wheel swap or two. What do y'all think?

It's your own projects. You can make whatever you like without our approvals. Though I'd have saved the beautiful Pennzoil Celica and painted over a generic mainline one if the opportunity was there.

I meant " Do these projects sound interesting enough to post?" I decided on the '68 Dart, so I can take the drag tires for one of my Thunderbolts. The Supra, although somewhat of a bummer, needed to take that celica's place because of funding.

Ah. I wouldn't worry whether they're interesting enough to post. I have shared photos of cars I did so very few mods on I'm sure no one had an interest in. Just share 'em. :)

Will do. Ill be sure to take before, during, and after pics... Now just to get my hands on a drill, and a #50 bit...

Edit: Started yet another project. Making a GT3 or possibly a GT1 Supra. Would have made a drag Supra, or a super modified, but I do not want to steal the spotlight from budget_crx. I will however, post pics of the sanding I have completed, most likely midday tomorrow. I also needed to configure my budget again, so I will be getting the 2014 NFS Mustang, The '68 Dart, the Pikes Peak Celica, and the '69 Boss 302. Needing some rubber wheels bad. And don't worry guys, I wont be touching that Off Road Celica. Lol

I started another project. It is my Supra GT-R.

I deleted the door handles, and shaved the exhaust tip, and the spoiler.

Here is another project I have got coming up. Its the new Porsche 934 RSR.

On the rear wheel, you can see that there is some gold missing on the edge of the rim.

Here you can see the Porsche logo is off center. Im not a fan of that.

My Civic was like that too, but the casting already have the emblem engraved in the grill so the tampo on the bonnet was completely redundant. That got swiftly removed.

Anywho, I got pics of that Porsche. See my avatar for an appropriate expression.

The difference is tremendous.

Don't drool too much. :P

I haven't gotten that far. A rambunctious 2.5 yr old kinda stops me from continuous work. :D

(EDIT)
I found out the hard way that my yellow paint is try. Closed the lid at an angle. Fail. Blacked out turn signals for now.

(2nd EDIT)
I also hate to say it, but it looks like I cannot buy those 4 cars I mentioned above. I will be getting at least 1 vehicle, it is a surprise, but I am sure you guys will love it! Secondly, tomorrow, if Wally World still has it, I will be buying the 3-Musketeers '70 Chevelle Delivery, just for it's wheels. Perfect for the Thunderbolt.
