I've always played with a controller, but I ordered myself a G27 a two days ago. I figured I might as well get my feet wet a few weeks before GT6!

i jump from my girlfriends place to mine,i have my g27 at my girls...i used to move it back and forth and just got tired of it.It stays at my girls place now.

i dont have a proper stand for it though, just a ****** tv tray with weights on it lol next month i need to buy something worthwhile!

Homemade rig with g27. Even able to switch shifter from left to right side depending what car I'm driving : ) not the prettiest but sure does job well with 47" Samsung

Wheelstand Pro, T500, LG 42 inch LED, Sony STR DB730 5.1, Tannoy Mercury speakers. The sound better be improved for GT6!!!

With the recent news that my Fanatec won't work on XBoxOne, my PS3 and XBox360 have had a stay of execution. Forza (which I enjoyed more than GT5) is now a thing of the past, and now I've looked into GT6 I'm looking forward to sitting here:

To enjoy, GT6 on my PS3 as well as F1 2013 and WRC3&4 on my X360

My son has a similar rig in his room for when we play Co-Op F1:

then, when we have friends round for Motorsport parties we set our rigs up in the dining room for Karting on GT5 (now GT6) and F1 on the 360 like this:

That'll keep us busy for a year, then I'm leaning towards a PS4 when it's cheaper (as long as my Fanatecs work!)

Bye bye Microsoft!

I have a Fanatec RennSport Wheel Stand V2. I love it. Holds the wheel well and can be set up for sofa or standard chair in comfort. It's also nice and easy to pick up and move to one side without taking masses of space up.

As much as I hate it, I just canceled my pre-order. I have a DFGT but until I can afford a Playseat (or something similar, minus the seat, since I already have a real racing seat in storage)...there's just no point in playing with a DS3. Also, having just moved to a new country without a job...until I get a job, I probably shouldn't be buying $60 games.

Good news, sony was qouted saying that all previous peripherals are compatible and even the DS4 is compatible else were. So dont sell up. Ds3 also works on ps4.

That is good news... Cheers.

I'll look forward to getting a PS4 next year and playing P-Cars, F1 2014 and eventually GT7

Don't forget driveclub and the Crew even just for a more casual experiance.
But yeh, my aim too. Around the same time as watch dogs release date.

On release date I'll be using my Playseat Challenge, Fanatec gt3rs v2, Porsche Pedals (blarg) and a 40" TV.
Hopefully my order from Fanatec will arrive soon after that and the I'll be "uppgraded" to a Fanatec CSR, CSR Elite pedals and a new h-pattern shifter (Had an old old pre-production one that I broke when trying to mod it...).

Comfy on the couch with a wheel stand pro with G27 (anniversary present from my wife, I am pretty sure she loves me), old fat PS3 hooked up to a 40" Samsung TV, Marantz amp and my old Genelec studio monitors.

I'm old-school, old-fashioned. I'll have my DualShock 3 playing on my 1994-ish TV. Nothing fancy. I may use my Driving Force Pro if I choose to want more of a workout racing.

I'm not tech savvy. I don't even know how to plug my PS3 in my computer monitor or I would.
Simply as I did use my HD computer Monitor for plug into my PS3 to play any games if I want which come with HDMI and another for my computer case.

My racing rig is cumbersome to put together so I will be switching between the DS3 and my G27 on a HD big screen. On the weekends I will setup my rig and take it down Sunday nights. During the week if I get to play it will be with the controller.

Just ordered a Logitech DFGT and a Stand from Amazon, the wheel and pedals should be here tomorrow (thanks to Free next day delivery) but the stand wont get here until Friday :(.
So my setup will be a wooden chair, DFGT and a basic stand which is hooked up to a 26" LOGIK LED TV. I will often plug in my headset as well for further immersion 👍

I accidentally voted wrong. My setup is best, I got a new 500g PS3, a couple of DS3s , a really nice Samsung 32 led, a comfy couch and my real competive "edge" Is my real life race team, two 7 yr old crew cheif/mechanics and a 3 yr old cheerleader ;)

*edit, and yes my crew cheif and mechanics will be constantly asking when its their turn to be driver..lol

I just completed updating my set up since we are only a few days out now!

still using the DFGT with the add on paddles but I upgraded to a 50" Plasma last week and picked up a set of the Pulse Elite headphones to round out the experience

I also got rid of my old 60GB fat PS3 for the new top slider slim

I'm having a release party with about 15 friends on the 7th, here is a teaser of my gear, which will all be set up out in my man cave/garage with two 55" flat screens and enough beer to put us all into a coma. Cant wait.
